She's doing really good... I'm surprised...

She got home last night - I picked up some chinese because she likes their egg drop/wonton soup... little did I know how starving she was... she ate two plates!!!

she looks like a pirate: at the moment... (has a patch over the eye...) Have offered to get her a sequined one to wear out :cutie:

I caught her up on the step stool this morning.. (one eyed...:scared1::scared1:) (can't keep a good woman down, I told Ian...:rotfl:)

Other than some Motrin, she's not really in any pain. I guess your eyelid doesn't have alot of nerve endings.

It was a really bad skin cancer. She will freely admit that she is a stubborn pain in the A$$ about getting things done so it is her fault. She had to go to the MOHS surgeon at one medical center and then the Plastic Surgeon over at Albany Med. (that's our big medical center up here...) We were VERY lucky to have had two very well known surgeons up here to get the help.

she will tell EVERYONE to use sunscreen now... (which her grandchild will not do... :headache::headache::headache: Maysie thinks the darker the tan the better...:eek::eek:) Mom used to tan back when they used iodine to get tan with and she's paid for it.

On the nice side. she has been showered with some flowers from my siblings!!! A little bit of spring has arrived in our living room :flower3: :flower3:

She's asked me to thank EVERYONE :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: for all the love and good wishes... It has made her feel very good!!!

Well, tell her she's got some more coming! Sending hugs and good wishes her way, glad she's doing well.

Today we went and saw Battle: LA. We both really enjoyed it.

Tomorrow we're going to see Paul.

As for cleaning - I threw out around 6-7 magazines so far :rotfl2:

Another 8 to 8 day. Going in at 8am tomorrow again. But only working until noon because I'm picking Tyler up to go see "Hop". :goodvibes He's never been gone from me for 2 weeks, so I figured it would break up the 2 weeks so he's not going that whole time without seeing me. I know he was worried about in all day Sunday before his dad picked him up. He kept hugging me all day, and he's NOT a hugger. I never get hugs anymore. And when his dad picked him up, he kept coming back up the sidewalk to hug me a few times as they were trying to leave. ;) Then I might try to go back to work afterwards, I'll have to see how tired I am. I don't want Jan to come back to work and get stressed out by how much work is there. She needs to stay healthy for when I'm on vacation soon. :thumbsup2

As much as I'n not a fan of talking animal kids movies, that one actually looks kind of cute. Plus I got to meet the pink beret bunnies already :thumbsup2

michelle - basal cell? I missed that part. mohs leads me to believe that. John had that on his nose and had mohs.

Michelle, glad you both slept well. Sending more hugs for the QM. I'm glad she is feeling so well and is getting spoiled a little :grouphug:

Holly, sending hugs for Jan too :grouphug: I hope your other co-worker is feeling better soon, and that it's nothing too serious.

:rotfl2: How many did you read first! When I sort through magazines it takes me forever. I keep finding recipes that I think I will use. Of course, I never do, so I started some time ago just ripping out the recipes so I could discard the rest, now I have envelopes full of untried recipes

Holly, hope you enjoy seeing "HOP" with Tyler! Let me know what you think of it. I'm wondering if it is suitable for a 3 yr old to watch :confused3

I'm taking my 9 yr old grandson to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2" tomorrow night. Have you seen that one?

It was a basel cell... but it was very deep cause like I said... she's stubborn and put it off - what should have been an easier process turned into a whole day in 2 medical centers... :rolleyes1 But she's good and has learned her lessons...

From another Mohs she had to have on her temple, they had to cut the nerve and ever since then she can't raise her eyebrow. So now she's joking about going in for a brow lift!!! :rotfl:

Kathe... how many grandchildren do you have?? I thought you only had Serenity? :confused3

Well.........Serenity was my first :cutie::cloud9:....

My son, Serenity's dad, has been with his girlfriend for a couple of years now, she moved to Ontario (they had met in Alberta) about a year and a half ago. She has 3 sons so I now have 3 grandsons as well :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Just wanted to make sure I got it right.. I'm easily confused you know.. ;)

I'll let you know about "Hop". Yes, we saw "Diary of a Wimp Kid 2" last weekend and both loved it! It was hilarious, but almost made me cry at the end (but in a good way). GREAT movie. I didn't expect to like it.

Great, thanks:thumbsup2

Well, hope we both enjoy our movie dates tomorrow :goodvibes

I'm signing off, have to work again early in the morning. Goodnight all :cloud9:

Thanks. I called them both this morning. Jan is still easily tired but feels like she'll be able to come back to work Monday. :thumbsup2

Jayson said they were doing all kinds of tests on him but that he felt better. He and I emailed each other back and forth all day and he was to be released this evening. He says it was a big wake up call and he's grateful to be walking out of there. Says he was told he has lots of weight he needs to lose and has to completely change his eating habits. I'm glad he's ok for now though. He has a wonderful wife and adorable twin boys turning 2 in June who need him around. I need him at work because he makes me laugh every day. :goodvibes
