Long day. We're short handed this week at work, so I tried to go in early, by 7, but didn't make it until 7:45. But I suppose 15 minutes early is better than being late, which I am, more often than not (late, that is). My office manager said "It's just a bonus for us that you were actually on time for a change". :rotfl2: She's like me and is NOT a morning person, so we both roll in late and bleary eyed most mornings.

Anyway, worked until 6:50, then rushed to my 7:00 Lent study group which lasted until 9, so after hitting a drive through for supper on the way home, I didn't get home until about an hour ago. Now I have to rush off to sleep because I need to try to be up at 5am to try to get to work at 6 because I'm still working on stuff from last week, and have to leave early tomorrow at 4:30. Parent-teacher conferences. Hate those. I see the teachers regularly, so I know what Tyler's doing in school, so I have to listen to his dad be so shocked and clueless when he gets the updates. :rolleyes: Whatever. Then I'll probably go back to work afterwards for a couple hours.

Good think I have a 2 week vacation coming up in 28 days!!!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I cant believe its coming that fast!!

I was hoping DCL would release the new itinereries this week but I know theyve been busy with few things . I just want to know about Hawaii! We may book for the Fantasy and switch if something else comes along :)

On the main board they're saying the announcement is April 6th.

We're hoping for Hawaii too :cool1:

Morning all.....it's a dreary gray day here in Orlando....supposed to rain later and I forgot my umbrella at home (duh).

Hard to believe that I leave for Vancouver in 33 days :scared1: Wow, time is flying!

Lisa....my plans so far for this weekend....mow the lawn (if my lawn service doesn't come back by then). I finally caught up on my bill to them, so hopefully they'll be back this month :lmao: I REALLY don't want to do that!! Not exactly what I would consider fun :rotfl:

I am super tired today....not able to fall asleep until after 1am & was awake again at 248am, then 418am before the alarm went off at 6am. I think it's been about 1 week since I've slept more than 3 hrs straight. Drinking a venti Java Chip Frappacino from Starbucks this morning to see if it'll keep me upright.

Dinner tonight w/ Marlene (my friend that is joining me on the Alaska cruise).

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! :grouphug: :upsidedow

I know it's only Tueday but does anyone have anything fun and exciting planned for this weekend?

We're going to spend the weekend cleaning. We have a couple of closets that need to be cleaned out in the worst way :scared1:

I'm going to try and dig myself out of YET another SNOW storm... HOLLY!!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Who mentioned CHOCOLATE? :eek:

(sorry...)

my weekend plans keep changing. We were supposed to be in Honk Kong but cancelled the trip since it was attached to the Tokyo trip. Then we were going to Atlanta but Matt can't go now, then I was supposed to scrap with my mom but she has to work now. So now it looks like dinner and a movie (hop) on friday, church dinner Sat. night, and Sunday (my birthday) a baby shower and then out to eat for my birthday and then moms for cake and ice cream.

Sounds like a lot of fun no matter what you end up doing! :rotfl:

Still pretty sure we can't go anywhere next year. Depends on whether we need a roof by then. It would probably take me a year to save up enough money for a roof! :eek: When I bought the house, the inspector told me the roof should be fine for another 5 years. That was 6 years ago, so my neighbor told me he'd check it out for me because I have spots that keep showing up on my kitchen ceiling. I don't see any drips when I try to check it in the attic, but I'd rather have a handy guy check it out.

ANYWAY.......yes, I can't believe it either how close vacation is coming! :dance3: I'm sooooooo busy this week, I don't even know what day it is, let alone how many days until I leave, but every day is a day closer, so that's all I care about. :banana:

So I went to see my friend in the hospital yesterday at lunchtime. First time I've ever seen the cardiac unit (actually, the sign said "cardiac step down unit"). What a crazy busy place! Groups of doctors rushing down the hallways, things beeping all over the place, just chaos! She had just been taken off oxygen that day, but was still not breathing well and very worn out. I felt bad because I kept making her laugh, and that would start a coughing fit, making it even harder to breath! :eek: She'd been having IV antibiotics and said she had another round coming later that day. They're still trying to get her lungs cleared up. I left still worried.

Then I called her this morning and she was pretty sure she'd get to go home this evening. :thumbsup2 She told me the doctors said she had pneumonia, and that her body is unable to get better on its own anymore because of the progression of her lung condition, so they told her she'll probably always have to be hospitalized from now on whenever she gets bronchitis to keep it from developing into pneumonia. :sad2: I haven't been able to reach her tonight, so I'm not sure if she actually did get released today. I hope so. She says the last time she was in the hospital was when she delivered her son 39 years ago. But the good news is that she's on the mend. :thumbsup2

Worked 8am until almost 7pm Monday, 7:30am to 8pm yesterday, 7:45am to 8pm tonight, probably 8-8 tomorrow and Friday too, so I'm off to bed before I collapse. Just stayed up long enough to watch one show on TV, eat supper, and play with the cat a bit. At least I haven't been home enough to mess up the house this week! :rotfl2:

I know right :rotfl2:

We'll probably go to a couple of movies too - want to see Paul, Source Code and Battle: LA.

I imagine that they will end up here at the Scotia 1 plex in about 3-4 months...:rotfl2:

JUMPIN JACKS OPENS TOMORROW!!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Unfortunately I won't be there for opening day... Mom is having her eye operated on tomorrow for the skin cancer and I've promised her I will wait until she is able to go.

Then again... we're getting 9 inches of snow on Friday... HOLLY.... :sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2: so I guess burgers and ice cream outside isn't quite a good idea... :rolleyes:

Its now official all of our Tokyo trip has been refunded. We got the last thing the flights refunded today. Now to book airfare to LA!!!!!!

This weekend is going to be fun! For whatever reason I am not meant to leave town this weekend. So we will just have fun in town.:goodvibes

I am very excited about Alaska, everything has come together so smoothly. There is one excursion I didn't get but I will try on-board and if not I like the one I got too. Also learned tonight just how water-proof my pants are. I helped my mom bathe her Husky tonight and while my pants got wet it I couldn't feel it! Poor Coco (the Husky) has to be spayed tomorrow.

That is so scary for her and her relatives. I hope she stays away from bronchitis, but i guess with a lung weakness that is too much to hope for.:sad2: Glad she is home anyway!!
