Actually, I did....I mentioned that I thought of her (and our almost daily Guinness drinking in Diversions on the Transatlantic) when I had a Guinness in London

I also had a Killians (on tap) at the Atlanta Delta Sky lounge

Holly - to you & Tyler. As the others have mentioned....you're always welcome to vent to us...that's what we're here for - to share the good & the bad. We've been through so much together over the last 4 years, and I don't plan to go away (even if the thread gets slow b/c of FB).

I'm glad that the Dr gave the recommendation of the double dose in the morning - hopefully that'll help.

I'm also really glad now for the wave phones & that you've discussed using them so that you can come to dinner while Tyler sleeps. I'm praying that he will be able to do the clubs - I know that he will be disappointed if he can't, and that won't help his self esteem either.

Must say that I'm glad we're on the Wonder.....at this point there is no beer on tap on the Dream. I sort of talked to Handsome Daniel about this in January. I asked him where I could find the Guinness, and he shook his head and said "that's a sore subject" & said there was no beer on tap. Hoping they remedy that situation-or atleast fix it for the Fantasy.

Yep, beer on tap has been slowly showing up in assorted bars on the Dream...but no one has mentioned Guiness yet!

I've been rather quiet lately what with one thing or another BUT just wanted to let you know that....................


.................my beautiful daughter, Sophie is having a BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which, of course, makes me a "Grandma-in-Waiting"!!! Or "Mother of the Mother" as I like to think of it... Sukie's already informed me that I'm now too old for my blingy purses (NEVER!!!) and should, of course, donate them to a mysterious Chicago fairy??? What can he mean???

Anyway, Sophie had her twelve week scan today and everything is wonderful. We saw the baby move about, kick it's tiny legs and generally play up for the camera. Methinks a Diva in the making...

So, without further ado, let me introduce 'Baby Lipton'...

Love and miss you all BUT I'm feeling so happy right now that I think I'll be around to play a little more from now on... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ugggh, now dad is fighting me about the med change, saying there's no reason for it. I say we have to do what the doctor says, but he says the doctor only told us to do that after I mentioned Tyler fighting taking meds at school, which dad never knew about. How would I know what he's not aware of, good grief! Now he's ticked off at me and refuses to do the med change. Apparently we both have completely different interpretations on what's going on with Tyler. I see the teachers more often, so I probably have more info, but figured he had phone calls and emails with the school just like I do. This cookie is about to crack.

You've got to talk more.. and I'm sure you think you already do... and you probably do a lot... but my mom could tell you... she had to discuss everything with my dad even if she thought he knew it already...multiple times... It was in my best interest to do it..

Have the Dr. talk to him again... and again and again until he gets it...

& tell him it will make his trip to FL a lot easier if you do it that way...

I filled him in just now by email. He thinks the school year is going great and everybody at school is over exaggerating. But, thinking positively here, he does always end up getting on track, so this will be fine, I just have to ride out his being mad and the arrogant emails on what he thinks is best, etc. We're not doctors, so what he or I think doesn't really matter a whole lot in the big picture. We have to do what the doctor says. Can't just keep as is and continue getting phone calls to pick up Tyler. When he gets those phone calls, he sees it as the school not doing their job, not Tyler having trouble. We'll get through it, we always do. I sometimes can't handle how bullying he can be, but am going to avoid any further emails or phone calls just for today and start off fresh tomorrow in dealing with it. I'm learning that sometimes I just have to step away for a few hours.

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow... not colored though... I've sort of let it go natural for now... wanted to see how much white I had in my hair... it's about 50/50 or so... My sister wants me to go natural... Emma wants me to color it... I'll probably color it if I go away anywhere... but we'll see after tomorrow. I will post a picture if it looks ok..
