RIP Ian Kirkwood, the funeral will be on Thursday... I am not looking forward to and my Ian still low...

Just want to show you that He was so happy that Scottish Team won Gold at New Zealand... Next bowling competition will be held at Perth on end of March... Feel sad the Scottish team lost without him...

Good news, I think I can finally book our return flights from Seattle on payday tomorrow! The $169 good deal with Southwest is no more, but Frontier has $178/person, which is better than the $200-$300 range (or more) elsewhere. And it looks like they still allow one checked bag for free just like Southwest does.

I love Frontier airlines!! For $5 you can watch satelite tv

No waterproof pants for us either. We only have two Alaska excursions.....one is a train ride so we don't have to worry about getting wet and the other is the whale watching. For that I'll wear sweat pants with a thin raincoat that I'm bringing. I'll layer under it.

What is everyone doing for shoes.....should I bring boots?

Lisa, I can't do too many threads either. So I do this one and whatever my next cruise is going to be. So then I only have two usually to keep up with. At least that's the theory that has worked so far for me. With the Alaska cruise....there is more than one thread plus the LA cruise before it. I check in with the others, but I mainly just follow one Alaskan. It gets too confusing otherwise and then I start posting the wrong thing on the wrong thread......hahaha......

I'm booking car services this week. We'll need one to and from JFK because that's where we are flying in and out of. Then I thought I would hire one from the hotel to the port in LA. I think I can take cabs everywhere else.

Since we have so many transitions from one place to another, John and I are only packing one suitcase each. We have two large rolling duffles. We will use those and not even take a carry on bag. You're going to see me wear a lot of repeat outfits......hahaha.......

Spring cleaning is continuing.. I believe I've been an inspiration to mom... she's spot cleaning.. she starts in one spot.. takes a break to watch TV and then finds another spot Just as long as she doesn't start to clean out the walk in closet... she usually saves that for when company is coming, the whole house needs to be cleaned and the only place she starts is where guests won't see!!!

I've decided to do a little each day. Of course it being just mom and me, it not as much. With the heat on all winter there's dust everywhere (forced hot air heat...)

Plus... yesterday was garbage day and I'm trying to really get lots done by each pickup... When the weather's nicer.. I have to go and do the garage. But every time I do that, my neighbors think I'm having a garage sale and want to go through all the crap out there & they all wonder why my antique pine armoire is out there instead of my bedroom.. wouldn't fit up the stairs... gotta buy a new house just to get my armoire out of the garage..
