We're at the Doubletree. They have a shuttle and they have a rental car drop.

That looks like a better option (QUEEN beds). Peg is checking out the Marriott Courtyard in Long Beach as I think she has rewards points, so that savings there may cover the cost of transporting to the ship the next morning.

John, great to see you over here again.....check out the previous page 154. I did an evaluation and description of our cruise on the Dream and posted pictures. Since you're going very soon, you may be interested in checking them out. Have a blast on your cruise and I'll wait for your pictures and thoughts!!

Not that anyone is going... but Disney canceled Tunisia (I know... duh....) from the med cruises and canceled all ABD trips to Egypt until at least August...

I think the pool area is great. I know a lot of people think that it's too small for swimming, but most people sit on the edge anyway and they made lots of room to do that. There's even a bar you can sit in while in the water. I love it. Naturally, it was only in the 60's so I never got wet. I thought I would wait until November when it should be in the 80's.

The Fantasy will have a learning curve too. Now that I have done a maiden voyage on a new ship, I won't do it again on the Fantasy. I paid extra for all the nonsense. It was not Disneyesque. It was worth doing once, but now I'm done. You'll have to weigh it out for yourself. Also, see what they announce in mid March for the new itineraries.

Sorry you didn't have warmer weather...my cruise is actually a few weeks after the maiden voyage...a lot cheaper too! Thanks for your thoughts on the pool area. It is snowing and snowing and snowing here right now...how I would love to be by that pool right now!
