You will both be greatly missed. But it's worth it to have your life back at a new job that you like to do. That's so important. They'll be other cruises when the timing is right.

My thoughts exactly! :thumbsup2 Ian, it really is a great relief how happy you are at your new job. That's much more important than which particular cruise you're on. :goodvibes.

Thanks. It was tough but a small price to pay to be waking up everyday without being stresses and beaten down.

I met former colleagues for lunch last week and they told me that my face had really changed. I said it was probably because I'm not angry all the time anymore.

Eight people have since resigned for new jobs. That says something considering the market and holiday season. Imagine in a good job market?

So fewer cruises but much more net happiness.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Well said, Deb. :thumbsup2

I have to keep this in mind too....since I had to cancel the Repo (thanks to work not letting me have all that time off at the same time), I've been bummed, but it was more because of the people sailing & the ship than the itinerary.....but I know I'll be seeing everyone again, so that helps heal the broken heart :upsidedow

That's a bummer. But I'm so glad I get to see you for the Alaska week!

No worries what so ever! Can I request 2 for me please??? :) Don't forget to also let me know how much $ to give you

You are such a dear.....thank you for understanding. We actually only need 70, but then some people were added at the last minute I think and then Kaylee isn't on the list at all, but I'll give her two.....so we'll make some extras. You can certainly have two or more if you would like for your roomies. I think 80 should be enough. John will buy the magnet paper and some ink this weekend and then I'll know how much your share will be. They are going to be small. I think he was able to get nine on a page....so maybe ten pages to print out. It shouldn't be too expensive and we each pay one third. It's all good.

Exactly! I'm worried about John having enough time off too. We have taken more vacations than usual and he accumulates time off monthly. It will be near the beginning of the year and I'm not sure he'll get approved for that much time off. We may have to shorten the number of days before and after and I already have plane tickets. So they will need to be changed. We'll see when we get there.

Aw, Ian, so sorry. My mom & I were really looking forward to spending some time with you & Sukie. Understandable though. You have to do what works best for you. Hopefully we'll get to cruise with you both sometime. In the meantime, since we're in driving distance, she & I can come bother you guys sometime. :)

Consider doing the Dream B2B with us in November. I think everyone is going on that one....including Ian and Sukie. Bring mom too. Tyler will love the Aquaduck.

Very cool! :) And I can't believe my phone played it all without stopping every 5 seconds, LOL!

OMG that ship is big. Seeing the Dream right next to the Wonder really makes it obvious. The Wonder looks like the Dream's little baby. I can't wait to get onboard. We leave in two weeks from this weekend. YEAH!!!

absolutely not possible. I won't be able to afford to cruise for a few years probably, just like the gap between the last one and this upcoming. Plus, I won't have any more paid vacation time left after this upcoming B2B. But thanks for suggesting! I'd love too! :thumbsup2

Monica, this is for you. John did this at work today. Now we can do both.

It works for me.

Love the magnets! My next cruise is not until the repo/Alaska.:sad2: But I am going to the BCS game!!! We leave tomorrow!:cheer2:

Hi Gydell!!

Have a great time - drive safe! Where is it?

It's an exciting time of the year for football. Enjoy!

Can't wait to see you for the LA repo/Alaska. It won't be long now. Time flies.

Cheri posted on Facebook that it was too choppy to stop at Castaway Cay. Somehow that makes it doubly sad for me that the WONDER did not get one last dip in the CC waters. :sad2: It fits with the oddity of us being on the WONDER for Alaska without a stop at Castaway Cay since it is not in the Pacific. Odd :upsidedow
