We don't even have enough snow to go sledding.

It's all powder - which is good for skiing... but the mountains didn't get it this time... classic noreasters cut off at the edge of the storm. The other side of Albany has close to 2 feet of snow.... we got about a foot.

We had a lovely Xmas and now I back to work yesterday and it was busy... huge sales on at my work....

I saw the news about snowing over USA!!

Weather here now is raining so snowing melt and I wonder if anymore snowing?

Only our two youngest grandchildren believe now. Our little 3 year old granddaughter cam over a couple of weeks ago, looked round the room and whispered to her mum 'Santa's here". Apparently they had been using the flashing red light on the burglar alarm sensers in rooms corners as Santa checking up on them!!! Pooe thing. I would be paranoid, imagine!!!

Ok, this is from the email my TA sent me on 12/25:

"Unless you request otherwise, we generally call in final payments to Disney in bulk,
at 65 to 70 days prior to sail date. *If you are not yet paid in full and want to
take advantage of these pre-booking opportunities please call in your final payment
early requesting that we charge your credit card immediately."

So now I'm really confused. I guess I should call today.

We had a lovely Xmas and now I back to work yesterday and it was busy... huge sales on at my work....

I saw the news about snowing over USA!!

Deborah... all the streets in NY were down to one lane and they had 2 FEET of snow to remove.... it will take them time, they will take all the snow and scoop it up and put it in the river to melt. They don't get this kind of snow often... so they were basically paralyzed.... it's funny though... now we have the problems with the airports over here that you guys had last week...

Looks like we'll be getting rid of the Wii very quickly if it's going to cause a frustrated meltdown every day. Not a fun gift after all. Ugggh. Or I need to find some very simple games for it. What a pain. I thought he'd be ready to handle video games now. Guess I was wrong.

Holly... start on some of the beginner games. There's even a few lego games for the Wii... I got Will the star wars one last year and there is a Harry Potter one too...

Thanks. I just wasn't sure what's considered a "beginner" game. He's got quite a few Legos games for his Nintendo DSi, so we'll try that. The Sports and Resorts Sports games that came with it are horrible for him, except for a couple. He also got Carnival Games too, and I know he can handle that one because I played it a bit already, so we're going to try that later tonight.

Start slow and be patient... he'll get it... remember he's different than other kids that can process this quickly...

Alaska cruise paid in full.....guess I'm really going. I already have the plane tickets so I had to do it. Next to pay is the LA repo, but that's not due untill February 11th. Good thing because I have a cruise to do in a few weeks and need some money to pay for play onboard that one. Cruising every three months....Oct, Jan, Apr.....is a bit much. Although I love it, it's taxing on the finances and on me physically. At least after the Alaska I don't cruise again for six months....that's a better time schedule.
