Yep, I lived really close. 3 bunk beds, 1 twin, 1 queen sofabed, and 1 king. PLUS 4 boys, 1 baby, 2 puppies, 2 dragon lizards, and last I saw a collection of snails in a bowl and 3 worms in a bucket....and 2 crazy adults. Sure COME ON OVER!

It will hurt probably! But maybe if you compare it to a weekend in LA at a really nice hotel and a couple of great dinners out, plus a 'broadway' style show, it might not be so scary!

Ok - so maybe this is one of those "tell him when he needs to know" thing!!

I just called again. They said still booked. I will try tomorrow 6am PST to see if it got refreshed. I'm totally in for a week-end, especially knowing it is a birthday celebration! ...can't' wait to shop for some candy cigarettes so we can smoke as we dance the night away going nowhere!

Holly, I haven't been on here much lately either. First being away for a month and then recouperating afterwards. I'm settling in again and getting back to my routine, so I'm able to come back and spend more time here now. Until we go to Chicago for Turkey....hahaha. It'll be time to start packing again soon. I haven't even unpacked and washed the last round of suitcases. Well lots to get done this week. That and caring for the leg. I have to get aggressive with it. So that will keep me busy too.

I'm so excited to be going to Chicago soon. I've never been and can't wait to explore. And then there's the friends to hang out with....Truman and Talulah.....hahaha.....just kidding. I can't wait to see all the Thieves coming and to eat the incredible meal that Ian is going to prepare for us. How special!!! Then there's all the new friends that we'll be meeting for the first time and I can't wait to get to know them. John and I are people persons.....the more the merrier. It's going to be so much fun!!! I'm getting very excited thinking about it now.

Had my 3rd 5k this past Saturday....my goal was to finish in 59 minutes.....I finished in 52:40!!! I was floored!

It helped alot that there were less people out & about so we had less slowing down to get around people. We were able to walk at a steady pace.

My goal for the Turkey Trot 8k is to finish (not locking myself into a time).

But it's supposed to be back to the 60's by the end of the week.

Trying to get myself on a laptop very soon... I have to take up other hobbies now, like knitting, reading by candlelight and cleaning up the homestead... I imagine milking the cows and sheering the sheep will come next...

Mom and I aren't going to be making Chicago for Thanksgiving. I've spent too much time in pain the last couple of weeks and I tried other alternatives for travel, such as Amtrak and flying and one was booked out and flights were

So... we've decided to stay home, watch the Macy's day parade and eat an entire apple pie by myself... (mom's decided on pumpkin...)
