Greetings from Arizona!

I've gotten to see quite a bit of the areas in and around Prescott, where Cheri lives.

She's been a perfect hostess.

The other day we drove over to Sedona. I was expecting to see more stores with cookbooks and kitchen stuff. After all, isn't that where Williams Sedona comes from.

Last night Jackie and Peggie arrived. Cheri is a good sport hosting this jamboree at her house. It's been a wonderful opportunity to see folks.

It's also been quite a while since I've had the opportunity to sleep with 3 women.

I'm tired this morning. Going back to my coffee.

Hi Kathe!!!

We here in Upstate NY and especially the 4 incredible people (myself included) who will be journeying up to the Track at Saratoga tomorrow, would like to thank the kind people of Canada for sending this wonderful cool front our direction. We are expecting beautiful sunny skies... no humidity and temps in the high 70's tomorrow... PERFECT weather...

Now all I've gotta do is figure out which horse to bet on!!!

I'm having a bit of a rest before the gang all show up for dinner. There will be 9 of us again. I have been busy today making a salad and two lasagna so I have enough for everyone. I still need to make garlic bread but I have the garlic butter all mixed up. I also went for an hour walk this morning with Sara and Trevor and their dog

Serenity wasn't supposed to be coming because it is her weekend to be at her mother's. I was kind of looking forward to a little more time (and quiet) to visit with everyone else tonight, much as I love her. Well, her mother had something else "come up" so doesn't want to take her this weekend, so Serenity will be here afterall. Of course I like to see her, it's just so much busier!

Deb and I were awake at 4:30 both joking that we're going to need a nap inbetween races tomorrow!!!

There's a new restaurant opening at Italy in Epcot , Via Napoli, which serves mostly pizzas. They are having their "soft opening" right now. I read that they would start taking ressies for the fall starting today so tried calling for my Oct trip...but they said no, not yet, keep trying back

I wasn't going to make any ressies for restaurants for this trip since the food and wine festival is going on and since I will have stuffed myself on the cruise for a week, but I really want to try this place! The pics look great!

Well, in real life... I dated the high school bookie... so I was the only one in science class lab who knew how to read a racing form...

With that said... I go with names... jockeys and when all else fails... I close my eyes and point... works sometimes...

There are two horses I have to bet on tomorrow... one has Champagne in the name... and the other is called Bank Heist...

While sailing from Gibraltar to Barcelona, the Disney Magic rescued 18 people who were adrift at sea.

The ship then commenced rescue operations and found 18 Algierians who had been lost at sea for 4-5 days. They are onboard now and are recieving food and water and healthcare.
We contacted Disney Cruise Line and they provided us with this statement:

We are proud of the Disney Magic crew members, who skillfully demonstrated their training and commitment to maritime protocols around saving lives at sea. We have notified authorities in Barcelona of this rescue, and they are coordinating the debarkation of the group and other details.
