And it's looking like we're going to get to see MONICA!!! :yay:

I got our 3 Palo reservations. We are only going to do an excursion in St Maarten, so will look at which Island Tour to do. Gibraltar we are doing the Rock with Angie, Dennis and PJ on our own. Madeira we have been to so we will just wander to the town - make sure you look at the webcam for us!!! Tortola we went to last September, so will just wander around there. So, that's that!!!

Marilyn, I like your plans :thumbsup2 Sounds so relaxing...I want to come too!

Hope you have recuperated from your busy day and had a good night's sleep by now.

Deborah and Michelle...wonderful pics :thumbsup2 Thanks for posting them here for me to see :flower3:

Nan and Shannon...hope Molly and Shaelyn are enjoying their weekend at camp.

Nan, are you feeling better today?

Funny to hear you talk of cooking - Paul is really the one that cooks for us with any regular fashion at home and he is good at it too. I'm glad to have found him - as I have friends that aren't so lucky even in this the modern age

Good for Paul :thumbsup2

Funny thing, in my husbands family there were three boys and one girl. The boys all learned to cook at home but my husband's sister never did :confused3 When I first married my husband, I was a little defensive when he tried to help me cook, I took it as criticism when he'd start stirring and adding more spices  He actually worked as a chef. I got over it really quickly once I realised how much easier it made it for me when he helped out ;)

Sooooo tired, but don't want to go to bed until the tornado warning is over with in case I need to run across the street to my neighbors' house (they have a basement and I don't). I think it's almost over with, I think they said until 12:45am.

Glad to see you've stayed safe Holly  I worked late last night and went to bed never realizing that there were tornado warnings here too. They are reporting that there was a "possible tornado" that touched down about an hours drive from here, in Leamington. It has caused a lot of damage.

You must be getting really excited about your road trip coming up :cool1::cool1:

We are leaving early Thursday morning. It's a 20 hour drive straight through, but we're stopping in Tennessee to visit my brother and his family, I expect to be there by 6pm, so it's the 1/2-way point. We're going to spend the night there to visit, swim, and relax, then leave early Friday morning and hope to be at Heather's house around 6pm-ish. Tyler is so excited about the long drive. He loves, loves, loves road trips because he says there's so much to see. He's such a great traveler. Last time we drove to Tennessee, when we got there, he said, "Wow, we're here already? That was quick!" ;)

I do remember Tyler enjoying your trip last year. Do remember to take regular breaks and short walks. You can get DVT's from driving too.

Marilyn, I like your plans :thumbsup2 Sounds so relaxing...I want to come too!

Hope you have recuperated from your busy day and had a good night's sleep by now.

Thanks Kathe. I had a good night's sleep.

I wish you were coming along on the cruise, and sharing our table too.

Good for Paul :thumbsup2

Having a chef for a husband would be great(though I would have felt the same as you did at first) Perhaps that is what we should look for for Holly!!!;)

Glad you weren't affected by your weather too. About 10 minutes after I posted that, the tornado warning was cancelled and I rushed to bed, I think I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow. ;) Had a rotten migraine last night that started shortly before the storms started, but is gone this morning, fortunately. :thumbsup2

It's a beautiful sunny day today, so I might be motivated to mow the back yard........AFTER I take a nap! ;)

Thanks Marilyn, I did not know that about DVT.

Oh yes, I'd LOVE to find a chef!!! What a great idea! :cloud9: I will add that to my list of what I'm looking for in a man. ;)

I think we're having a big F&W DIS meet on Oct 17th. I think we should ask our ambassador of meet and greet to coordinate this event for us. Maybe a list of everyone that's going to be at WDW on 10/17. How about if we meet at the gate at Epcot at opening? Then we could all go in together. I have to rent the scooter to drive around in all day. I rent them at the entrance. We could all meet there.

You know I sleep until at least noon... :rolleyes1

TUT!! Page two....pirate:

TUT indeed!!!:rotfl:

SORRY... I've been BUSY!!!! :rotfl: (besides... I thought I put YOU in charge of the thread...;))

Marilyn - I love pasta too. My mom used to serve plain noodles as a side dish with just a bit of butter on them. My kids thought I was crazy when I suggested it; they love their noodles, but they want something on them. Teriyaki sauce is a favourite of theirs.

Hi to everybody else! I must get back to work again. :(

I can honestly say that Will, healthy as he is, ate nothing but pasta with butter, I SWEAR for the first 10 years of his life... oh... and the occasional mac and cheese...:thumbsup2

This is Olivia with her big smile!!:)

Here's something I thought I'd never say. I'm so tired of looking at the computer! I've spent tons of time this weekend updating Tyler's blog/album/whatever you want to call it. I'm up to October and have to stop for tonight. Trying to get updated before we leave Thursday so I can add vacation stuff as we go. :yay: In case anybody is really, really bored: http://tylertheterrific.blogspot.com/

But it's likely stuff you've all seen here or on FB. :thumbsup2

Goodnight all!

Busy weekend for us.
Shaelyn had fun at her Brownies camp out, and got 3 more patches I'll have to sew onto her camp blanket/poncho. One of the patches is one that came from Arizona so it says "Girl Scouts" intead of "Girl Guides".
Yesterday, Kaleigh had soccer in the morning, and her team was working well together. Kaleigh got 3 goals which made her very happy.
Then we went to the our towns first airshow which was great.
I"ll share some pictures tomorrow.

Deborah - Olivia looks great with her football trophy!

Michelle - Great picture of you, Brian and your mom

Nan - hope Molly enjoyed her campout, Wilson & Paul enjoyed their baseball, and you enjoyed having some alone time

Deb - hope you're enjoying Hersey

Hi Holly, Marilyn, Kathe, Monica, Bubba, Venetia and everybody :goodvibes

You are going to be shattered when you get home. You aren't normally so active just at the moment are you? At least you can rest a bit when back. though, I am sure it will all have done you a whole load of good!!!
