Today is a SEA DAY We are heading, at speed, towards our stop for the night, Colon, just outside the Panama Canal, while we await our transit tomorrow.

My cousin flew home to Aberdeen from Australia today and the funeral will be on Wed (lucky my day off) so I will go up to Aberdeen on Tuesday night with kids...

Well everyone... I'm running away for a couple of days...

I'm taking a mental health break and heading up to the lake for a couple of days - my friend Susan has left me the keys to her cabin.

I plan on reading, maybe doing some stitching and if it's nice, sit by the lake and do nothing at all... I've planned 1 1/2 nights of star gazing (before clouds roll in...)

& I'm going to see how long I can go without hitting the library to use the computer...

Sounds wonderful, Michelle! My mental break will be tonight, sitting on the couch watching mindless TV with pizza and diet cherry coke. All the productive things I'd planned on doing today will wait another day.

There's a guy I've been corresponding with on Singlesnet.com and I just found out he has WAAAAAAY more kids than what I'd be comfortable with. He's got 5! Fine for some, but too many for me, and they're all under age 12. Yikes! Have to nicely tell him I'm not interested after all. But I suppose that's what the back and forth emails are for....finding more and more out to decide if there's enough common interests to warrant meeting. Time to go fishing again.
