Hi All!!

Wow - 2 years ago we were starting on this adventure, huh?? (Physically, that is). Hard to believe.

Love the pics that have been posted lately.

I'm finally starting to feel better...still tired & coughing but loads better than before.

looking forward to seeing Ian & Sukie tonight at Kona Cafe.

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:,:love::love::love:, prayers & pixie dust to all of those who need it. I'm sorry I've been MIA but you are always in my thoughts/prayers/heart.
Monica, glad you're starting to feel better! Hope you had a good visit with Ian & Sukie tonight! :goodvibes

Happy Wednesday!

Deborah - great pictures!

Hi Marilyn! Michelle! Monica! Holly! and everybody :goodvibes

Gotta go get Shaelyn and stop at the grocery store and then home to cook supper together. Its much easier with only one helper instead of two :goodvibes

Hi Shannon! :goodvibes

She is beautiful!

I'm back from the rheumatologist. I'm typing with my left hand and only my ring finger on my right hand. The doc gave me the thumb shot, but he split the dose and put half in two different places so it's like a double shot and MAN it hurts. I have almost no use of my right hand at all. I hope the pain goes away quickly.

I asked the doctor about the steroids. He said no. He said that my leg is not healing because of my circulation. He said to get the test done because there might be a blockage. He said the steroids are not going to help that.

So I need to heal from today and then go for the tests.

Michelle, my mom never understood my issues with illness. I looked fine so I must have been fine. Only John fully understands my limitations and setbacks and frustrations. His son is right next door and he doesn't get it either. I completely understand and have similar patterns. You're not alone.

Hugs back to everyone.

Ken, give them he-l-l. Don't forget all that Canadian pride your country just shared with the world at the Olympics. Stay true to that!!

This is really slow typing so I'm going back to my DVR recordings and taking naps. Good Night all and sweet Mickey dreams.

Well, I could say I'm the last to check in but I see that Ian hasn't made it yet so...I guess I'm just SLOW to check in!:)

Things are going just fine at Eastwood Manor. T, T & I have settled into a little routine in the morning. Around 6 a.m. they bark and wake me up and I go upstairs and let them out of their cage (where they sleep for the night). Then we all relieve ourselves (not at the same time or in the same places, in case you were wondering):lmao:, and after that we all lie down on the couch and go back to sleep for a couple of hours. It's been working out quite well. When we all get up for the second time, I make coffee, feed them and then we all go out on the porch to enjoy the spring weather. :goodvibes

Yesterday and today I went to art museums, which I enjoyed but I think tomorrow, even though I'd wanted to go to the natural history museum on this trip, I'm going to do something outside. Maybe visit a neighborhood and do a little shopping or go down to the lakefront. It was supposed to rain this afternoon, but ended up being windy, but sunny. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny (fingers crossed) so it would be a nice day to walk around. The week has gone by fast, the boys will be back on Sat., just a couple more days, and then I'll be going home. But I'll be back for Thanksgiving, and we'll surely do some fun stuff together then! Lots of good times in store in the next year and a half!!:cool1:

I left home for our TOAL on May 8, so it's not quite the 2 year mark for me, but close enough to celebrate! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone on our various trips next year and I hope there's still interest in a possible "reunion" in Dec. 2012 on the Fantasy!:lovestruc Wasn't that what was talked about awhile back?

Deb, Michelle and Monica, to you and wishes for better health soon! Hope I didn't forget anyone!

Hi to everyone else!!:grouphug:

Hi Cheri!!!

There's a few stragglers... nice to see you! :flower3:

Two years ago today we were on the road heading towards Cocoa Beach. It seems like such a long time ago. I would love to do a reunion cruise and I don't care when it is, I'll be onboard.

Deborah, Olivia looks so beautiful....a real princess. The whole wedding party looks beautiful. I bet you all had fun.

Monica, happy you're starting to feel better. We have missed you.

Marilyn, when do you have to go for your next surgery? It should be coming up soon. I'll be thinking of you.

Cheri, glad things are going so great in Chicago with T and T. Hugs to the boys when they return.

Hi Shannon and Ken, Michelle, Bubba and V, Kathe, Holly, Jackie and everybody else.

I'm finally able to type today....even though it's still a little sore. Last time it took a week until I was able to fully use it again.

John came home from work last night and said that by next Monday he's going to have a different job. He'll still be with the University, but he's going to get reassigned. Instead of doing campus wide fire alarms, he's going to be assigned to work as an electrician in the hospital. He doesn't want to take it. He's going to try to get assigned as an electrician campus wide. There's cut backs everywhere. He has seniority. So he won't lose his job, he's just not going to be doing the same thing.

I told him that it figures it's his last 3 years before he retires and he can't do it leisurely....there has to be turmoil. I also told him that no matter what the University tells him, we'll deal with it. At worst, we'll relocate to Orlando earlier.

Good news about your thumb Deb.:thumbsup2

It does seem another lifetime ago since we were all arriving in Orlando doesn't it? Perhaps we will relive this cruise in the next couple of weeks.:)

Still waiting for my surgery date. Supposed to be within these next 2 weeks. Such a nuisance not knowing when though. I will be glad when it is over and I am pain free.

I hate the waiting....it's the worst part. I hope you get your date soon. I called my wound doctor to schedule the ultrasound and xray and I got an answering machine and had to leave a message. Either they are laying off too or people are on vacation. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Well, I woke up with a scratchy throat this morning and aches all over. Spent today sleeping. Hoping it's not going to get any worse. I guess it was time that I got Cheri's cold... :rotfl: Oh well...

Time to go and eat something.

Hi Shannon! :goodvibes

As Bubba says its 2/3 kid free! :lmao:
So far its definitely faster in the mornings, when I'm only waking up one other person instead of 3 :goodvibes

Hi to everyone else!!:grouphug:

I've been enjoying seeing all your pictures on facebook. Looks like you're having a great time :Goodvibes

happy to see you back posting again!
Hopefully John's job can get settled out with him doing something he wants to do!

Will you get much notice about your surgery date or will it just be a sudden thing? Hopefully its soon.:goodvibes

I really don't know Shannon. Last Wednesday the surgeon said between 2 to 3 weeks, and I haven't heard yet, so I am hoping a sudden thing!!!!! We are wishing we had thought to say we would accept a cancellation, but we didn't!!!!!
