Well I can always take a table for 12 now and adjust it later. I'll book for 2:30pm if they let me....I'll take the latest time possible. I hope they're open despite the holiday. I had no idea that date was a holiday. Kaz knows. Thanks for that. We can try and see what happens.

I just called Castaway Restaurant....they are open on Easter Sunday in 2011....they are open every day of the year. We can book a table for 12+ at 3:00pm. It's not a problem. They said to contact them 3 months in advance. I'll do it just before Christmas to be certain. YEAH!!!

Nan, I don't have paperwork on the Alaksa (as I'm just a tag-along) but the final payment date is in December I think (rediculously early). At least that's what I have in my head as final decision time. **somebody will come along with the exact date**

Kathe and I are both in limbo about the $$, but hopefully I can bunk with her to save her the solo upcharge and we can both go. We have a friend of Monica's joining us for the Alaska portion, so the two of them can keep that cabin and I can move over and share with Kathe. I keep rationalizing that this Alaska cruise has 'free' airfare for me...since I'm in Vancouver already.

Jackie...I am not in limbo I have had to cancel some plans to make this work...but I am going to do the B2B...and I am definately hoping for a roommate !!!

Besides, Niagra will be there next year. I haven't done it either yet. Hmmmm......should we all meet at Niagra instead? It doesn't matter to me. Shell, it's up to you. You pick. We could do your place this summer and Niagra next summer....then maybe Kathe can join us too.

Sorry, Niagra is definitely not an option for me this summer, because I'd really like to have more time there, but I'd love to consider it for next summer!

It's sad but she was somewhat relieveved.

One of the people who reports to me was laid off. I knew nothing about it until 5 minutes before it happened. I chose to be in the room when they were told because I thought it was the right thing to do. It was extremely upsetting.

OMG you guys have been chatty!!!

I just arrived home tonight from PEI. I had a great trip Weather was great, although it did rain a bit. We seemed to have the timing worked out though. It would rain while my mom and I were driving around the island, then stop when we went to lunch and shopping at all of the little craft shops! We also had a couple of days that were warm and sunny and no rain. It had been 8 years since my last visit, but it felt like I had been there only yesterday It did my heart good to go...and I know I made my parents happy too

good news bad news at work for me - no merger bad news - I was the only one on our exec team that was complimented by the other company - good news (but bad news for the rest of my team and the reason for no merger) plugging away at work

Okay, I've decided to be brave and join Ken's soccer team I ended up playing on Monday as they didn't have enough girls show up and would have had to forfeit. I didn't have shin guards or cleats, and I am far from good, but it was kind of fun, so I think I'll go for and see what happens.

Deb - the brunch on Easter Sunday sounds lovely, but if we're planning to take the girls into the park that day.

Ian - sorry work was another stressful day.

Kathe - glad you enjoyed your trip to PEI. I hope to get out there on day. I've only been as far east as Toronto, still got lots more of Canada to eventually see.
