Hi Everybody

Oh stressful this week....

Ian and I bought new kitchen units, oven, hobs and flat screen tv...

We have a huge kitchen and this week we cleaned out the cupboards and lift the floorboards (lots of work)...

I felt it was wrong times as I am going away tomorrow to Aberdeen for my brother's wedding with my daughter as she will be flowergirl..

My neighbour is doing the labour, moving the heating and put diffrent place, and doing the wall tiles, fixing the new kitchen etc for us as he prefer this weekend *** quiet as we all away to the wedding...

I am sure it will turn out lovely when we come back after weekend (well I hope so)

WOW Deborah! What a lot of work! You're very lucky you have a neighbor who can do this type of work. Did you take pictures before you started ripping things out so you can show before and after pictures?

Well I had my hospital appointment to get my MRI results today. Good news is nothing nasty which is what I anticipated, but they want to take the gallbladder out as there is some inflammation and tiny gallstones. It is the tiny gallstones that are the problem passing down the bile duct and going into the pancreatic one causing the nasty acute pancreatitis. They don't want me to have another attack, and I sure don't. Apart from being one of the most painful things, it can be fatal.

Our September vacation should be fine now, barring complications. Just need to check the cancellation policy as I can't get travel insurance until all is ok.

Should have the op, done by keyhole(hopefully) as a day case in 2-3 weeks.

Marilyn, what good news, knowing it's nothing serious. Sorry you have to get the gallbladder removed, but at least now you won't have to worry about having another attack.

Yeah yeah yeah... If the flights to the east coast weren't so flippin' expensive ... Can't wait for the Wonder to get to the West Coast. My pocket book will probably take a huge hit then!

Was looking for a decent cruise on the west coast for the July 1st / 4th weekend but of course there doesn't seem to be anything. Seems to be either on the 4th or the week before, but nothing falling across both holidays.

Trying to figure out a vacation idea for that weekend as it is prime for vacation days. Take the Friday and the Monday off here and it is a 5 day weekend.

Yes, I took some photos of Kitchen as it look bare now...

New oven, hobs arrived yesterday so everything in order so fine...

Just me worry about forgot to packing things for brother's wedding...

I know what you mean It looks like I might end up paying more to get to LA and home from Vancouver next year than what the TA cost me in airfare. I still have lots of time to search for cheaper airfare though.

We did know. Bubba, Venetia, and Gaylean and family are booked. We are considering adding it onto our PC cruise seeing as I won't want to get off!!!!!
