this week it is School holiday here and the road and my work seem quiet look like everybody is in Florida

I did know it is half term back home, but honestly I have only heard 4 groups with English accents, and none with Scottish!!! They all seem to have a US accent I'm not to keen on - well the women do for some reason, like Carrrie's mom in King of Queens.(I can say that because not everyone likes a Yorkshire accent like mine!!!!!) The area of that accent must be empty of women as they are all here.

LOL!! No, only the co-worker whose house we're going to meet up and go to dinner together. OH........and our office manager knows! She asked me where he is today, I told her he's in Detroit for the day, and she asked me if he'll be back on time! I innocently asked, "On time for what?" She told me he told her he and I are getting together with Ingrid and her boyfriend for dinner and drinks. She told me HE'S NERVOUS AND EXCITED! She did remind me to keep it to myself though, and not let anybody else in the office know. She advised me to not mention it to him during the day today and to take things VERY slowly because he hasn't been out socially in many years. I'm so glad for her tips. She also told me that if I give him time and be patient, dates will continue. She's good friends with him, so she would know.

I'm so glad to hear he's nervous too, it makes me feel much better. I'll be too afraid to even speak to him in the office today because I'm afraid he'll bolt, so it's a good thing he's out of town. I don't expect him in until after 3pm, and then I'll be swamped with getting everything done by the end of the day. I think on my way out, I'll pop my head into his office and just say, "See you in a little while".

No, he didn't, he and I have had lots of talks about how unhappy he is at our firm. I'm happy for him about the new job but will miss him.

So.......I'm at Ingrid's house waiting for him to get here because he had to finish up some things at work, so she and I left to have a beer first. LOL! He will be here any minute though, so I'm super nervous because she ran across the street to get beer for her boyfriend and her, so I'll be alone with Marv when he gets here! Yikes! What to say! Oh well, I'll be fine. Later folks!

Will had to have a colonoscopy today (he's only 13...) and he's been having problems lately... They may have found something during the test and they have sent it out to the pathologist to see if it is anything of concern...

So... keep him in your thoughts...

He will be up tomorrow - he's going to a 2 day camp in Schroon Lake.. Can't wait to give him lots of these...

One of the girls I went to High School with (and who is MY age...) had a stroke this morning in her sleep... we are waiting to hear what's up... so please keep her in your thoughts too.. her name is Cheryl...
