Off to work at WW in about a half hour.
I'm so sad. We went to Costco yesterday and I didn't buy myself a toy. There was nothing I wanted
I thought I might buy a video game, but the adult in me said, "You can't have any new games, until you've finished playing the one's you've already bought."
I hate when that bossy SOB sticks his nose into my affairs. Besides, they didn't have any I wanted ... well they did have one, "Drake's Fortune 2", but he stopped me from buying it.
Then I got home and went on Amazon and almost bought "Assassin's Creed" (the first one) for the PS3, but he stopped me again!
I guess I'll just spend my time off from work trying to finish "Heavenly Sword," "Prince of Persia," and "Infamous."
This coming week is a short week for me. I'm only working 3.5 days this week. I'm off from the afternoon of the 17th. I return to work on Monday the 28th.
We don't celebrate Christmas so we really have nothing planned. Perhaps going out to see "The Princess and the Frog," and also perhaps venturing out Christmas Day to see "Sherlock Holmes." We may just stay in as well.
We bought a couple of jigsaw puzzles to work on, and I've got a couple of really nice bottles of wine left over from Thanksgiving to enjoy.
HOW many times do I have to remind you to knock that

It's just something you get used to and don't know what you're missing out on because it was never there. I remember moving to NYC for the first time. I had just left my small hometown knowing everyone since kindergarden and we were all the same age. Now I find myself in NYC living and working. Everyone I meet is from a different place and all different ages. I loved it. But every father's day everyone had some special story and to me it was just another day. That's when it hit me that I didn't have a dad. I was 20 years old. I'm fine with it now...I'm over 50. Your perspective changes a lot when you hit 50. You're now starting the downward portion of your life....no more climing. So you figure that you have earned everything that you want in life, so you get it and have it. I guess you can call it spoiling yourself. It works for me!
APPARENTLY, it doesn't work for Ian. IAN SPOIL YOURSELF, it's ok you're over 50 and you have started the downward portion of your life. Tell him to shut the duck up. You have earned it dahling. Just do it....like Nike....that's another motto of mine. I love that line. Buy yourself 5 new games, who cares!!!!! Enjoy yourself. Enjoy your life and live it! Each moment counts....don't waste even one. BUY THOSE GAMES!!!
Hugs and love to you. JMHO.
I wonder if my step mother wasn't around if I would have had more of a relationship... but he chose and he had 2 totally different families...

comment on FB - not sure what all info they have on me but I keep getting stuff for Altanta ... didn't think I lived there.
U sure???
Morning kids!
Monica, I did the math on our cruise and counting the tips we have a 73% discount over the current cost of a Cat 5 for three adults!WOW! TA discounts ROCK!
.
Oh good. rub it in...

I'm off to get a pedicure and buy new shoes today....oh wait, I'd better do that in reverse order! Will get some breakfast first, as I've consumed all my groceries and will need to get more of that too.
House de-cluttering is progressing, will do my bedroom today and then have all next weekend for the office/craft room (and it will take every minute of it too)!
Need to call on my Disney rewards card (which expires this month). Someone on the DIS posted that you can get that transfered to a regular Disney gift card before it expires. If not, looks like I'll be shoe shopping at the mall that still has a Disney store and will buy a beach towel or something......
So that's my day......
.
I did that last week...

Thanks for all your help Holly. I now have the Wii, the Wii Fit with Balance Board and Jillian Michaels Wii in my Amazon Wish List and I'll pick them up on Wednesday....my next pay. Now it makes perfectly good sense to me. All totalled it's about $350. Not bad if I use it. Do you just hook it up to the TV? I have a satellite box, DVD player and Bose all hooked up to my TV now. I have no idea if John knows how to hook up a Wii too. Guess we'll find out. I think I'll use it so I'm happy to have it. Now if only they will put Zena Rommett's ballet class and Alvin Ailey's jazz class on Wii, then I'll be in my natural element. In the meantime I'll try what's available.![]()
& your first recital is???
I almost forgot about it...it was with a recruiter who couldn't give me the answers I needed to determine if I wanted the job or not. I was her first callI think the company is a counsulting firm that offers same kind of services that I do but on a bigger scale. So it could be good, but I'm not sure if my attitude about being disappointed in the recruiter not being able to answer my questions put me in a not to call back pile. I was a bit pissed at the whole thing. I was at my client's office so the call we interfering with actual work. Long answer to tell ya - not sure yet
Still in my jammies but we need to get up and out to get to our cookie decorating party. Mols baked the cookies this morning the house smells great when she is at work![]()
told you not to wear your jammies to the interview...
