This is a picture of mom's Christmas Cactus that is blooming beautifully this year. She must be happy about Jimmi Johnson. Mom was still here to see him win his first year. She was ecstatic.

My brother is a big race fan too. He's a Jr. fan. He's driven around the Pocono 500 racetrack too....it's 20 minutes from our house. He did the racecar experience. That's all that he's ever wanted to do since he was a kid. He was thrilled. Me and John and mom and his kids were all there to watch him. I've never seen him so happy.

V....the Christmas Cactus was my mom's and it's in a planter with butterflys on it. They're both sending messages to us. Hugs and love.

Someone posted this over on the Podcast board... THIS is Oasis of the Seas...

I'll take my Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy anyday...

You could not pay me to get on that boat. There's way too many people and I don't like crowds. Since living/working in NYC, I like having my space. I would not feel comfortable being on there. I have even thought about more people being on the Dream. I think it will be ok, but I would not want to go any bigger. Oasis of the Seas is out for me.

These are weird. I can't imagine watching a movie on my glasses. How do you see everything around you? Can you see through the movie? That's even weirder. Maybe I just don't get how it works.

Today is going to be another stressful day. We have all sorts of executives in town from NY.

There is an all employee company meeting today and then departmental meetings.

I'm not going to be able to do my 3 mile walk to work today. I brought my laptop, keyboard, mouse and power supply home on Friday night. My backpack/briefcase is just too heavy for the 3 mile walk.

Think of them all naked and have a good laugh....good stress relief. Hugs help too!!

I know what you mean, I think Nana put me the a reminiscent mood too. My new favorite song reminds me of Mom, it's by Alan Jackson (her all time favorite singer) called Sissy's Song. I have renamed it though to Sandi's Song. Part of the song....

That's beautiful V and so very appropriate. I LOVE Sandi's song. Thanks for sharing. But it did make me cry....not worrying....just remembering and missing.

I CAN'T BELIEVE you have your mom's Christmas Cactus sitting on your porch. There are no coincidences in life. We're here for each other that's for sure. It does help to know that I share this with you.

Nan, linky please..... I don't want to miss anything good.

I just packed today for my January 4 night cruise on the Wonder. We're flying out on Friday Jan 8th. Once Turkey Day hits, I'm going to be busy prepping for Christmas and I'll have no time to pack. I didn't want to save it for last minute because I need to put warm weather clothes and cool clothes just in case....all into a weekender suitcase and we'll be gone for one week. EEK!!! I was worried. I feel better knowing that it's done now. I just have to do my carry on last minute things, the bathroom bag and John does the garmet bag. I'm good with that. Now I can forget it and focus on the holidays. Whew!
