Someone's saying that a Cat 5A is $3432.34 for two adults so your 5E should be cheaper if that's any use to you...

We're actually booked on the B2B - I have no idea if Sophie will be able to make it but for a holding deposit of $400 I thought I'd chance it... If not, I have a ressie I can transfer to the Inaugural Fantasy cruise when that opens... It's all good!!!

I hope Sophie can make it too. Better to have booked than not. You did the right thing.

Just did a 7 minute mile on the exercise bike. I burned 135 calories. Now I can't walk....my legs are like rubber. I only did arms for 2 minutes. I don't want any pain. I'm getting closer to my 2nd 25 pound goal...just 7 more pounds to go. Yeah!

Now I'm on my way to the post office to sign for my package. Gee, I wonder what it could be. Ha. It's my pink diamond ring. I'm psyched. I can't wait to be wearing it.

I'll have a carribbean lemonade and wear pink. I would pick some bubbly but I don't like the pink ones...they're too sweet. So I'll change to another favorite onboard. Cheers!

I know exactly how you feel Kaz. I can't believe we'll be onboard the maiden voyage either. What a DREAM! ha. We're going to be doing some celebrating I should think.

HI Deb! Sophie and I are on the Dream!!! We haven't directly heard from our TA BUT I checked on the Castaway Club section of the DCL website and there we were!!! Go and have a look!!!

Thanks Kaz, took your advice and I'M IN. I'm on the Dream's maiden voyage....oh what a thrill! I got the SR that I requested too. I'll be in 5150 which is port side aft. It's the last room in the row just up from the elevators. I think it's a category 5E.

I just rechecked my description and it's a navigator's verandah. I didn't realize that when I requested it. Oh well, at least it's a little less expensive and I'm on the boat. I have to see what the price is before I try to request a stateroom change. Also, it's going to book solid so I doubt that I'll be able to change it. Guess it doesn't matter. At least I'm sailing.

Its another wonderful day in Quesnel. Yesterday Ken & I put the rest of the tiles on our stairs. First time we've done it vertical. These are high end sticky vinyl tiles that look like ceramic especially after they are grouted. Ken was going to grout them today, but they were falling off last night. Today he is off to get some better glue and he'll glue them better plus put a couple nails in the tops where it will eventually be covered up. Hopefully it works out for him.

I came to work early today, gambling that I'd be allowed to start early and leave early so I can go to Kaleigh's soccer today. The boss said no problem so I can do that every Monday assuming no disasters occure. Kaleigh has soccer from 4-4:45 and then Shaelyn has soccer at 5:45, so it'll be a busy night. Shaelyn's never done soccer, but after seeing Kaleigh do it, and seeing all the bigger girls for the session after Kaleigh's, Shaelyn decided she'd like to try it. She's already missed 2 or 3 weeks, but they were still allowing kids to join so we let her. I'm hoping it will help her toughen up a little. I love her dearly, but sometimes she is a wimp. I hope running around doing a team thing will be fun for her and help her get a little teeny bit more assertive. Mostly I just hope she has fun. It is so funny how much of myself I see in Shaelyn as I was a shy wimpy kid, but I grew up and learned to stand up for myself and she will too.

It'll be a busy few days, with both girls having soccer today, Shaelyn has Brownies tomorrow and then soccer again on Wed. Hopefully Kaleigh isn't too annoyed that Shaelyn gets soccer twice a week and Kaleigh only gets it once.

Busy few days Shannon. It is worth it to keep children busy and interested in things. If they begin to get a passion for something it hangs on through teenage year and keeps them out of trouble.!!!

The guy you guys arent fond of on that "other" thread, reminds me of Newman on Sienfeld. Had the "pleasure" of ignoring him a few times in Rockin' Bar D. His group and our group were the late nighters in the bar everynight. Ignore him Marilyn, it was very easy for me to do. Very abrasive personality.
