I would have loved to be on the Dream's inaugural, but would have no chance of booking it. We have only done 4 cruises.

We arrived home this morning after a good flight but little sleep. Kept awake all day to try and get back into our time zone quicker. Just back from dinner with our son Andrew, his wife Jane and their 2 daughters. It is a bit of a ritual on our arrival back day and it helps kwwp us awake.

Our house is a mess and I could really cry. Plus on top of that I have been called up for Jury service in November. What a pain and I have so much to do too.

If you're really interested in doing the Dream, let us know. We're linking so we can book for other people. I have a gold. If Lisa can't use her platinum then I could try. If you want to let us know after the announcement that's fine. Think about it. I can't imagine sailing without you and John. It just wouldn't be right.

I'm glad you had a good meeting with the kids and grands for dinner. But I'm so sorry that your home is still a mess with the construction. Wasn't it supposed to be finished already? I hope you can get out of Jury duty for now and do it at another time that's more convenient.

I'm so happy that you both got home safely. Now you can keep up with your farms and fish....hahaha.

No activity points for me, I'm a couch potato, but I have had lots of low point foods today to counterbalance the evil hot dog. It was soooooooo good though! :goodvibes Today was my weigh in. Down 7 pounds since I restarted. :goodvibes

YEAH Holly....I'm so happy that you were able to pick it right back up again and it's working. That is such good news. Keep up the good work now!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::):):):):)

Deb - How exciting! I am thrilled that you will be able to start incorporating more activity. It must be exciting to be rediscovering your body. John could help motivate you by giving you a diamond for every 100 miles. I know he'd appreciate the suggestion, so you can tell him that there's no need to thank me for the idea.

Hearing stories like yours is the reason I do my part time WW job. That and the discovery that I get a bit of "pin money" for cruise and stuff. Though primarily to help people like you.

Ian, YOU'RE A STAR! as Marilyn would say. I would not be where I am today without knowing you. Thank you so very much for everything.

As far as John is concerned...I intercomed him and read your reply. You'll be hearing from John directly tomorrow....p.s. we both laughed our butts off. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I will as soon as I nail it down. Right now there's debate over whether or not I should make something new, a savory parsnip bread pudding.

I have though made progress and reserved an organic free-range turkey coming from a local farm. It was also WAY cheaper than the prices I've been seeing online though of course more than the battery stuff in the supermarket.

Now the only other remaining thing is trying to figure out how many people will be at dinner. The number is somewhere between 5 and 12.

GO FOR THE PUDDING, GO FOR THE PUDDING, GO FOR THE PUDDING. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I wonder if they'll do a lottery for the Dream inagural sailing, like they've done in the past? :confused3 I wonder if they'll have the higher deposit/early final payment? I wonder if they'll even have a special itinerary for the first cruise?

Guess we'll know in a little over a week!

.

I'm wondering all those same things. I wonder why we have to wait until 4:15pm that day. I wonder if what I read is true, that they will be launching her out of NYC. I would make the effort to be there for that. I just have to go into work with John on that day. It's Thursday next week. Hmmmm.:idea::idea::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I threw WW out the window for lunch today. I'd been craving a hot dog for quite some time, so I splurged and had one loaded with ketchup, mustard, onions, relish, and jalapenos for lunch. Yummy! BUT......it's stil an improvement over my old ways because this is my first cheat on WW since I restarted 10/1 and it was only ONE hot dog compared to my former habit of 3 hot dogs plus chips plus 2 Krispy Kreme donuts. ;)

Holly... you didn't go too far off... depending on what you ate the rest of the day.. you did put alot of freebie things like onions and jalapenos on it at least... that's also what your 35 extra points are from... ;)

Marilyn, I'm glad to hear you and John made it home safe and sound, but sorry to hear about the mess you came home to. And jury duty too, yuck.

Hi everyone!

We're back - but more importantly mostly recovered from our bouts of bronchitis.

We got off the Magic on Sat the 10th, by Sunday night I felt horrible and went to the doctor on Monday and was diagnosed with bronchitis, even got to have a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia. Darrell was a day behind so he went to the doctor's on Tuesday for the same diagnosis (they did a flu test on him and it was negative).

I'm hoping to get some pictures posted soon.

Thanks Deb for posting the new cc silver gift picture . Sorry the picture wasn't the best as it was on my cell phone.

Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't had a chance to go back and read anything I missed.

I actually figured that out a little big ago. I was pleasantly surprised! :goodvibes It really filled me up, so I didn't use any points on afternoon snacks, and wasn't hungry between breakfast and lunch today, so no snacking then either, so I'm on track.

Ok... now at lunch get up and walk a couple of blocks... or do it after work. :thumbsup2
Yeah, I used to walk on my lunch long ago, but haven't gotten motivated yet. I'm on my feet lots during the day at work, so on lunch I just want to kick my shoes up and relax with a book for a while. One co-worker runs 45 minutes on her lunch hour every single day, but I sweat too much to be able to do that (even in cold weather). Yuck. ;)

Anyone going to Disapalooza? (The Toy Story party)

Don't I wish....Hi Lisa, Hi Darrell, glad you're both back to normal again.

It was great that you sent the silver CC gift pic. I thought that was pretty cool. Thanks for thinking of us and sharing.

Lisa - sorry to hear you and Darrell were both sick after getting home

MORNING MARILYN!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

(& of course our Lovely Deborah... :flower3:)

Now I can go to bed... :lmao: :lmao:

Good morning!! Had to get up a bit early for our first morning back!! The plumber is here getting on with the work in the en suite and John is painting a wallk in cupboard. I am hiding in the lounge, but do have work to do and some food to buy.

No activity points for me, I'm a couch potato, but I have had lots of low point foods today to counterbalance the evil hot dog. It was soooooooo good though! :goodvibes Today was my weigh in. Down 7 pounds since I restarted. :goodvibes

Wow, well done Holly.:thumbsup2

I guess we had better wait until the announcement as it could well be at the same time as the PC Repo!!!

We are planning a trip next Jan-March(not all 3 months, but during that period.:rotfl2:) John is well into these longish trips.:confused3:rotfl::confused3 I think he loves the option to either do parks or relax on the longer trips, and the weather should be so much better than here. I think we will try and get a cruise in too, but we will wait and see.
