Hello

I got home safety this morning as the flight was delaying on the runaway....

The flight was bumped and arrived Edinburgh about 10 mins late...

Oh it was so good to see Deb & John, Michelle and Barbara and I will put the photos in later as I love the champagne... I am shattered now....

I enjoyed in New York and managed to see lot...

My 5 friends enjoyed themselves and our luggages was full and didn't got the charge from airport...

I cannot believe that I am at home now as seem faster in New York...

Will be back later

It was a short holiday, but I'm glad you had a great time! :goodvibes

Hi Deborah, welcome backand glad you enjoyed NY!!

Deb, lovely photos - you all look FAB!!! So sorry about the leg though. Hope it clears quicker this time.

Hi Monica, glad your Thanksgiving trip went well.

Well, the trial is still ongoing and is getting more confusing. Hopefully it should finish on Wednesday with deliberating after that. It is very serious so it won't be a quick decision.:sad2:

I've always wanted to get selected for jury duty, but I definitely don't envy you with such a serious trial. Hang in there, it will be over soon!

Monica,

Welcome back home!

Have you thought about doing MCO-MDW-DTW-MCO on SW? The flights between CHI and DTW are usually pretty cheap. Sometimes even cheaper out of ORD.

:rotfl2: Sorry to laugh, but I don't think I've ever seen so many acronyms in one sentence! :rotfl:

It was so hard to get up today after so many days off. Of course we were both late, as usual, but only a few minutes, so not too bad.

My voice wasn't much over a raspy whisper today, and our office manager told me "This is the quietest I've EVER seen this side of the office!" I told her to bite me and she said, "Nobody can hear you anyway, so you might as well just save it". :rotfl2: So gave her the finger to get my point across. :rotfl: It sure was nice to be able to just ignore the constant ringing phones today! So much so, that I hope my voice is still gone tomorrow! ;) I just hate when those phones interrupt my farming or DISing. :upsidedow

I slept in this morning and managed to get the kids ready for thier school..

When they went away and I went back to bed, still feeling like jet lag:confused3

I got up at 10 am and get ready for working today arrrggghhh... I don't want to to go work as the weather is absoluetly freezing as I think snowing will be coming as heard that North where Sylvia stay as had the snowing...

Deb - Oh no about your leg - why why why!! as it looked great until you got home and it start all over again...

after all the hassle of 3 interviews and giving my references and agreeing to a back ground check - they reposted the job. Never checked my references (well didn't call them anyways) maybe the online checked them and didn't like the company I keep :lmao::lmao: all for the best I was trying to squish my round self into their square hole. but still looking for a job :sad2:

MIL had her surgery - haven't gotten the details of it all yet, she was drug groggy when we talked. She is in the hospital for 4+ days then to rehab for 5+ days. Last time they sent her right home. I think that may have played into the problem. Glad the surgery is over, now to recovering.

Can't wait for the pics Shell.

Happy that Carol is good and recovering Nan. Forget that job...it just wasn't right for you and things happen for reasons. You would have been miserable by next week. The right thing will happen. Pixie dust that it happens very soon.

I spent my day working on my health. It's a full time job these days. Got a doctor appointment for Thursday when they'll do a culture to see what kind of bacteria the infection is. Then they'll call in the antibiotics to my drug store on Friday. So I have a whole week until I start. I had to take matters into my own hands because it's so bad this time. It came on really fast and it's very very bad....the worst one I have had yet. So today I soaked in the tub with Epsom salt then scrubbed the top layer off as much as I could stand. The stinging proceeded. Then for the very first time, I wrapped the leg. I got the job done, but it's no where near as good as John does it.

Then I had lunch. Afterwards I started my exercises. I'm up to 2 and a half miles on the bike in 10 minutes and 300 calories burned. I do the arms too for part of the time. I'm exhausted. John will be home soon and I'll wear the pump on the leg for an hour. It's going to really hurt tonight. I'm just sick of this whole thing. I don't have cellulitis again. I just have the infection. Is it always going to be like this? On and off and back on again? I need to talk to the doctor and see if there is something I can do to prevent it.

When I called my doctor's office the receptionist picked up the phone and I announced myself by asking if they missed me. Mary, the receptionist, laughed so hard. But she did good to get me in this week. They were closed for two days over the holidays so they're booked solid....but she squeezed me in. Thank goodness. I could not wait any longer than one week.

I think I'll soak every day this week. We've got to get it cleaned up and dried out. It's soaking wet within an hour after bandaging. It's really bad. So I'll be very busy working on my health this week.

It sounds like a narrow escape from a poop-head.

Ian I LOVE YOU....this really made me laugh and I needed a good chuckle. And I concur....they're poop-heads. Nan is the best, their loss.

thanks guys I think you are right :thumbsup2 back at sending resumes today.

Deb I'm more concerned with your leg. After all it is our health that is the most important thing

You sound very determined to deal with this and taking agressive action and that is good. You'll beat it and I hope you can find out why it comes back and kill it for good. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Nan, this just means it wasn't the right job for you. Everything happens for a reason and the right job is out there waiting for you to find it. No worries, it will happen.

Glad Carol is recovering, and hopefully rehab will prevent this from happening again.

YEAH! DITTO! :thumbsup2

We were so happy when we got home tonight because after the poison looking untouched all these days, I could definitely tell it was being eaten because I found a couple pieces on the floor a few feet away from where it was sitting. OK, Tyler wasn't happy, he was freaked out because he's afraid to go near it, but hopefully LOTS of it is getting eaten by those nasty critters! :thumbsup2

No time to say more, have to get up in 6 hours. :upsidedow

Nan... glad MIL is out of surgery...

Holly... sorry about your sister... I hope things get better...

& Deb... oh honey... next time you better skip dancing on the table... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
