Hey guys, how are you? I can't sleep. I figured this was a great time to come and say hello. Nothing new is happening in my life. I'm working on a long term position until October 13 and then we'll see what happens next. We aren't planning a cruise in 2011 yet because we can't afford to book right now but maybe we will if there is something left in December. It's hard to say. I'd rather vacation but my poor house would rather be renovated and painted

We had such a fun day today! We ended it by making cookies, I had lots but still stayed within my points. Even though I just re-started WW last Thursday, I set it my weigh in day for Mondays because that's just easier for me because if it's not a good weigh in, I tell myself it's OK because it's the start of a brand new week, a brand new chance to do better.

So here's something crazy. Yesterday, before I picked Tyler up, I was doing something near our back door and thought I saw a small blur rush by me on the floor. It was so quick, I wasn't sure if I saw anything, but with my paranoia of mice, I was sure that's what I saw, so I checked everywhere for mouse poop for evidence of any being around. I saw nothing, so I figured maybe it was just a shadow or something. Today, one of the times we came home from all our running around, as soon as I walked in the back door, I definitely saw a mouse run across my kitchen floor and behind the fridge! I told Tyler to put his shoes back on and get back in the car, we headed out to get mousetraps. But here's the strange part......again, no mouse poop. I've been told that's usually the first thing you see and sometimes never even see the mouse, just the "evidence". Neither of the 2 traps have caught anything yet, and I haven't seen anything. Strange.

Yesterday I was home a week and Ella has not left my side.

I've just been lurking here a bit because I've been hanging out on the new 2011 PC Repo thread and I think David will divorce me if I try to keep up with 2 cruise threads and the DLP thread plus Facebook, but I HAD to comment on these adorable pix! Ella looks exactly like my 2 black fur babies! Love them!

It's not really cold enough for them to take up residence in the house yet... we've had some cold nights but the mice are still foraging outdoors... & apparently they poop there too...

But it's good to have the traps anyway... Good luck!!!

Good morning Thieves! I'm stalling getting ready for work, because I don't feel like going.

Venetia....I just found out they are scheduled to film the Holiday Parade at Disneyland on 11/7. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Could enhance the day, could make it a crowded nightmare.

I wonder if I'm allowed to pay to upgrade my free admission to a park hopper? Then I could pay to upgrade my AZ friend's too and we would have DCA to play at also. Guess I'd better check that out on my lunchbreak..............

Yes, I can buy an upgrade to a hopper (and would pay the upgrade difference for the folks I'm dragging along with me).

They may be chaning in to Sunday, as there are scheduling conflicts with assorted celebs. Word on mouseplanet from some dance studio that has kids in the parade is they should know by this Wed.

I'd love to apply it to an AP, but I want my AP to go through Jan of 2011 (so I can play there after the Panama cruise), so I have to wait till after the holidays to buy mine.

I can't believe it's the 5th of October where has the time gone???

Ended up not doing much this weekend.....caught up on shows taped over last week, plus 1 Netflix (The Terminal w/ Tom Hanks), did a little laundry & cleaning/rearranging of the dining room. Got on the computer long enough only to order Pizza Hut (which I know I shouldn't have done but enjoyed). Have yet to download my pics from the cruise.

I DID talk to my parents about 2011....(well really only Mom)....Mom is actually interested in doing the LA to Vancouver portion We started talking about them doing AZ first (airplane graveyard a must for Dad), then heading over to CA then they can do Vancouver/Seattle after. I was SHOCKED that Mom expressed interest....will need to price things out for them and send out a formal proposal rotfl so that they can think about it.

Had a rough night sleeping last night....fell asleep fine but kept waking up. About to go get my cup of joe to see if it helps me at all.

It's a sad Monday morning for me....I just learned that I lost one of my neighbors last night. I'm devistated. We are not overly close, but we were always there for each other. It was a shock.

Now I don't know what to do? Any suggestions. There are two young children who lost their mom. Thankfully they still have dad, but this is the second time that he has been widowed. They're going to need some help and I just don't know what to do.

you can, but you found that out by now. We did it for Willie's on his bday. I actually was suprised it was for one park only at the time We NEVER do just one park

Thanks Marilyn, now we have news helicopters flying all around the house.
