Last night when I went to bed and I just remember that Batlic cruise is same price for deposit 600 dollars each...

I put down 1,000 at dummy last year then I had to pay another 1,400 for transfer to Batlic...

Must be 600 dollars each oh wow that is high deposit...

Kaylee, so sorry you are feeling slighted by DCL for not having cruised more with them. It's not fair. Maybe it's all just rumors and won't happen. I'm going to talk to Jocelyn again tomorrow. I have some questions for her. I'll let you know what I find out.

Holly, I'm not going on all 5 cruises. There's no way that's possible. I just don't know what I'm going to end up on so I want to lock in lower rates for a couple of options. I'll only do one cruise in 2010 and one in 2011. The others will get canceled or transferred.

Michelle, John has 2 stents. I so know what you're feeling right now. It's very scary. Fortunately they found it and fixed it. That's a good thing.

That's where I'm at too. In wait and see mode. Even if we do Disney I plan to spend a day or so in Seattle. My plan would be to take the train to seattle on sat or sun and then train to van. on monday. So was planning on looking you up.

I asked today and yes, the onboard agent said the land dep. price for the Alaska cruises is $600! So onboard it's half that, or $300. Awfully steep! But the repo (LA to Van.) is the regular price, according to her.

I asked Jocelyn today again....she's the onboard booking person. She said to me and Ian, who was with me at the time, that we are paying half onboard and that anyone not booking onboard will be paying $300. That's what Ian and I heard. I'll check with Cheri and Ian again at dinner tonight just to clarify. I don't know why she told Cheri $600 and us $300. It makes no sense. I'll ask at dinner.

I also asked her about the boat filling up fast. She said if it does then try again a couple of days later because some deposits will not be paid and then rooms will become available. She said DCL will not hold rooms back.
