This part cracks me up:

Tuesday Vancouver, Canada — 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday Victoria, Canada 7:15 a.m. 4:30 p.m.

It's 1 hour from Van to Vic by ferry. That is certainly a "slow boat to China" to take that long. LOL

I'm still not sure about the return to LA cruise because of the time frame after getting off from the Van to Alaska cruise.

You get off the ship on the 6th of September then you have to hang around Vancouver for 2 weeks before it heads south again on the 20th of September?

I also find it hard to believe that the ship is out of commission for 2 weeks, that is a lot of lost revenue for Disney...

what is up with that break?! it is really strange! and what is up with the return plan....ensenada? it all seems strange to me! now to look at the calendars and send off the email to my TA to book away.

I'll have to be checking in here regularly to see what everyone is booking...can't cruise alone!

because of the delay on going back I'm inclined to book the first cruise. Although I guess, a two week break for us is no big deal, we could go back to work for a few days knowing we are cruising again in a few days!!

But if you aren't from these parts, that would be tough and expensive.

V - are we gonna be able to talk Gaylean and Jon into Alaska?

Popping in to say

I'm want on that ship!:banana::banana::banana:

Now I'll return to work and earn my paycheque!

I'm really leaning towards the LA-Van repo with the May 3 Alaska cruise afterwards. Timing it works well, no 12 day delay between cruises.

And I think it would be really cool to be on board when it comes into Canadian waters.

Also, I think a stop in San Fran (an overnighter to boot) is more to my liking than a stop in Ensenada.

Hey Eh! Wasappening? dont get too hung up on that delay at the end. Might be a typo or something.

I think you are right, but there are the other items I mentioned leaning me that way still...

Just went to the Disneycruise site and got this:

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage plunder, we rifle and loot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Hmm more thoughts on this...

Head down to DL for a few days before Apr 27.

Apr 27 hop on the Wonder and head home to Vancouver, Canada.
May 3 stay on the Wonder and head North to Alaska
Come home on the 10th and possibly head to football training camp!

Sounds like a great vacation!! :thumbsup2

If you were wondering ... I found this online: (sorry it doesn't line up properly, but you guys are smart and can figure it out).

So instead of Pirate night do we have "serge" night?

Michelle came over and got me to join in on the fun. Thanks Michelle!! However, I cannot go in early May. I have class until the second week in May. I am thinking of doing the transatlantic as of May 14. Then Alaska at the end of July. But I really wish I could join in on this fun!
