Mmmmmmm, birthday cake. I love the rich fruit cake variety and any other kind of birthday cake around!!!!!!!

For the first time ever, she didn't have my birthday cake. Oh well, I'll survive!

Uuuuuuuuurgh Holly!!! I know how much you hate mice. Nasty!!!! Can you get those plug in mice deterants over there? They emit a high pitched sound that you can't hear, but it scares the mice off to find another home. We had friends who did all sorts to get rid of mice, but they kept finding them in their big bag of rice they had nibbled through!! They got one of these and never saw another one.

Marilyn, I've had those plug ins for a few years and have never had mouse trouble in this house, so I'm hoping they'll just stay away. If not though, if I set a bunch of traps, a neighbor already told me he'll come remove the dead ones for me.

Yes, it's SO QUIET with those crazy screaming people gone!

It was a great day yesterday with my mom. She hung out for a while, then took us to lunch, then clothes shopping for Tyler. She got him 2 outfits, a pair of shoes, and some underwear. He already had enough stuff, but he was having so much fun, so it's great!

Then after my mom left, Tyler and I played Star Wars Monopoly (which we bought before she even came over) a while before bed, and I was so worn out, I fell asleep in his bed while reading his bedtime book!

Hi Everyone

I had a nice weekend.. well very busy...

Myfamily and I went to Aberdeen for my brother 50th Surprised party...

Kids stayed with my friend *** club told Val that no kids allowed by two weeks ago...

It was a great party but over 100 people as it should be 70 but Val invited more people... wow my brother must be popular!!

Saw my brother's old friend which I have not see him for 17 years oh it was good to see him.. He made a lovely speech for my brother which was emoitonal as he spoked out about my mum and his mum was a good friend...

on Saturday his brithday 50th... we went over to his house at Fraserburgh to had the bbq party, yes, the house was full again....

It was good fun....

Jumping on to say Happy September!

It was gorgeous weather here yesterday, and we all went to the lake after I got off work, and met my friend and her 2 boys. My friend wanted to try kayaking so she went out with Ken to give it a try, and I stayed on the beach with all the kids. Shaelyn and Kaleigh were in swimming and having a blast.

And would you believe that Ken forget to bring a camera!

I think the Castaway Cay improvements look great. I wonder how crazy busy the new water slide float will be. With late dining, we could probably get out there later in the day when many people have gone back on ship, but I don't think it would be fun late morning if its completely mobbed with people.

Shannon, that sounds like a wonderful day! I can't believe Ken forgot his camera! This must be the first time EVER!

We had an awesome day today, drove to Muskegon, MI (just under 2 hours west of us) for the day, toured the submarine and Coast Guard boat and Naval museum, walked on the pier at the Muskegon Harbor watching boats go in and out of the channel, walked to the lighthouse at the end of the pier, walked on the beach (Lake Michigan), found a nice playground, took some great pics to share later. Too tired tonight, I plan on the long weekend being my chance to play catch up with pics and finally update Tyler's page. I haven't done any updating since we were in FL and people keep asking me. I'm such a procrastinator.

Now I need to find something fun for us to do tomorrow. Tyler wants to go here: http://www.grcm.org/?i=Exhibits I think he's a bit old for it (the oldest kids we ever see there are 4 or 5), but we'll probably go anyway just because he likes it so much.

Oh Blast, just looking at it, Keith was asking if we are going... I told him that just booked with freedom of the sea...oh very tempt to go back with Disney cruise

& I think that the new improvements to CC will not only be to accomodate the new ships, but also to get people to spread out more across the beach and not just the first place they see...
