Me too! I couldn't figure out why my alarm was going off this morning. Plus I woke up sick too. Just a stomach thing. I was starting to feel it when I went to Walmart right after work, and was dizzy too, but figured maybe I was just hungry. Now it only feels tolerable if I'm sitting. Hurts when I have to stand and/or walk. Oh well, I can go to bed as soon as I get home today. People know I'm not feeling well because by now I'd be on my 2nd can of diet cherry pepsi and have only had a sip out of one can. Blech.

we brought our son in law, who was on vacation with us in may, some mickey egg cooking shapes to give him for his birthday. He had previously said he wanted them!!

He used them today for the first time!!!

Still haven't heard from the phone company. Ken's stuck at home waiting for the repair guy to show up which will be sometime before 5pm.

OH MY GOSH! We're finally going to have summer here! Well, for a few days at least. Maybe a week if we're lucky! 90F Saturday and almost 100F on Sunday! Almost 90 on Monday and then back down to cooler temps. What crappy summer weather.

It's supposed to get hot here this weekend too, but rainy with a chance of thunderstorms

I woke up this morning all excited that it was SATURDAY. Took me about a half hour to realize my error.....now I'm starting out Friday very depressed! I'm pretty sure they won't be getting 100% from me at the office today.

Its a long Friday at work, but only because I'm tired and sleepy and I know everybody is going to go home early today. My big exciting plan is to go home and have a nap before its time to watch some football!

I'm on an opposite schedule this week. I was off yesterday and today but back to work Saturday...BUT...5 more days until I'm on vacation

I was supposed to be getting ready for that vacation yesterday and today but the weather has been SO nice for a change that I just had to take time out to sit out in the sun and read Of course, I'll pay for that decision next week when I have to scramble after work to get packed

A good friend of mine called yesterday but I was out shopping for jeans...FINALLY found a pair! I haven't seen her all summer and miss her. I called back but had missed her, so left a message that I was off work for a couple of days, sorry I had missed her...was having my hair done this morning, vacation next week so would maybe see her in a couple of weeks. Well, I'm under the dryer and my hairdresser comes and gives me the message to call my friend when I'm done (we have the same hairdresser) and before I was finished and had a chance to call her back she just showed up at the salon! So we got to spend most of today together I should have been packing but it was way more fun to play She has two children way younger than mine so we don't often get too much time to play!

I hadn't heard that. What a worry for the family. Will be praying for a speedy recovery.

Thanks! I actually couldn't eat anything, my stomach was too upset. Then my head started pounding too. Stomach is better now, head is only throbbing lightly now.

I called the code violations department of the city today and tattled on my yucky neighbors! I ratted them out for not mowing and for having garbage all over the yard. The officer said he'll come tomorrow to have a look, and if it's indeed bad, he'll give them a citation. They'll have 7 days to clean up, he'll come back on the 7th day to check, and if they haven't done what they're supposed to they'll have a $400 fine.

Oh, I'm not the only one. One neighbor called CPS a while back so they came to investigate. Another neighbor 2 houses down from the bad neighbors had to go out and yell at 2 of the kids because they were digging up dirt in her yard where she's having landscaping done. The dad told the kids to get back to their own yard, 2-yr old boy told dad to "shut up" and they kept digging.

They are metal shapes Shannon. Bought at the kitchen type shop at DTD. I think they might have had a non stick coating, and had a small handle to remove them

I feel very sad for those kids. It freaks Tyler out when they swarm around our car the second we pull into the driveway to ask us if the guinea pigs can come outside. I've asked them not to come in our driveway though, and they seem to be remembering that. They just hang over their front porch rail and ask if the guinea pigs can come out. If we have time when they ask, we usually will bring them out. I only had to tell them once not to try to pick them up and they're happy just leaning in to pet them.

A lazy day today for me, as usual on the weekends! I set my alarm for 2pm, but got up at noon. Watching The Learning Channel, one of my favorite channels. Just gathered the dirty laundry and about to jump in the shower to head out to get things done before picking up Tyler. I've decided that since it's a rainy day, we're going to go see G-Force when I pick him up! (As long as his dad didn't take him).

Quiet Saturday...

My SIL came up last night to pick up Will at camp... he's thrilled because he was at camp with Canadians... (like they were alien or something...)

They left at the crack of dawn to pick him up and they left from here before I was awake... I hear he had fun...

The QM is watching golf...

I'm trying to catch up on little stuff around the house...

temps 75 and partly sunny...
