I'm taking lessons from Nan and this weekend got Shaelyn and Kaleigh cleaning bathrooms.
They had previously mastered the technique of "tidying up".
They needed more practice on wiping things, and showed noticable improvement compared to last time. The cleaning wipes are fun for them, so we're encouraging that excitement.
And this weekend, they got to try the joy of cleaning the toilet. Shaelyn was allowed to use the toilet brush; Kaleigh will have to earn that privilege in the near future
And the best part is that after being told to clean the upstairs bathroom, they asked if they could do the downstairs one, too
I graciously permitted them to clean them both.
I figure best to encourage it while they think its fun.
