Just popping in to say hi!

Its been a rainy week here with thunderstorms every night. The air conditioner at work isn't working in my department, which is irritating. Its not too bad at 80 but I hate my office at 90F! The oh-so-lovely reflective vest I have to wear is hot, but at least its motivating me to stay active out in the plant!

I must get back to work.

Sitting here at work. It's basically Friday for me, but I'm trying to finish my month end reports for 3 programs we have. But I'm stuck waiting for the accountant to get me the numbers, so I can plunk them into the forms for the reports to send the various Governments.

You might have seen this on CNN, but apparently a Canadian song writer put a video on Youtube that's gone viral criticizing United Airlines for damagedone to his guitar on a recent flight into Chicago.

He wrote a song about it and created a video and posted it on Youtube.

molly is baking up a storm today, she is using the Amish Friendship Bread starter and making muffins; lemon poppy seed, banana, and choc choc chip sorry I'm not mailing any of them not good for WW anyways

You're welcome! I keep forgetting to remind you about the Free Chocolate Fridays though. It's a bummer because I can't seem to remember myself! I received a free coupon in the mail yesterday and that reminded me that I keep forgetting to do it.

I love the chocolate WW muffins! I know I've mentioned this before.....but they make involuntary sounds come out of my mouth that probably make my co-workers wonder what in the world I'm doing in my cube! I have the same reaction with the chocolate VitaTops. That's the best 1 point treat in the world!!!!

THAT'S AWESOME! If you read the info about him and the song, there's a link to his myspace page, and on that page in the comments section, there's a link to a spot on CNN. The CNN person says United has now called the guy to tell him they'll make things right.

I have no idea what the chocolate VitaTops are....please enlighten.

My favorite snacks are the chocolate pudding for 1 point and the ice cream bars for 2 points.

Well 30 minutes and $30 later....I'm back from the post office. Today I mailed out all the letters for Ray's VA case. With a lot of Michelle's help.....thanks sweetie, you better book the Tortola so I can drown you in DODs....I sent letters to two senators, one congressman and two people at the Veterans Administration, one was the chairman. Let's take bets on how long it will be until I get a response and move this process forward. How long do you think? One month? Will I have a check within the next eight weeks....in time for my Tortola cruise? I'm not counting on it, but it sure would be nice.

I'm experimenting with iPhoto and iMovie right now! I hope to have a creation using our Tennessee pics and videos shortly. Then tomorrow I'll do one with our Florida pictures.

I need to mow the back yard, I need to clean the guinea pig cage, I need to clean in general, but I'm either too lazy or don't have enough energy...can't figure out which applies. I think the latter. So I'm going to put together our Tennessee pictures (because there aren't very many) and give the piggies a treat and head to bed. I'd hoped to be in bed by 8:00, but now will shoot for 8:30.
