There are many things about the greater culture with which I am unfamiliar. Do they happen only once a year?

they decided to eat crap for dinner, left over pizza for Wil and Molly "cooked" herself a toaster waffel, with peanut butter for the protein portion what a crappy mom I'm being today. it's monday I call it my dad of I'm not ready to cook yet this week day.

And Michelle, I'll bring the rum (coconut ok) and you bring the coke :drink:

It was bad enough last year when in Home Depot that guy stopped us to ask where he could go find Asian "lady-boys."

I'm now entering a marathon week. This coming Saturday, I'm subbing again for that WW leader who is having chemo. I just saw an email where my WW manager is looking for a permanent replacement for those meetings. I can't do it, because getting up early 7 days a week kills me. I really need to sleep in at least one day during the week, even if that is only sleeping until 6 AM.

On the plus side, on Saturday night we're going to a outdoor screening of Mama Mia, the sing along version. It's been shown by the Chicago Park District at the gay beach, in honor of Gay Pride Day on Sunday. I think it's going to be a hoot.

at that age (6) you can tell when they have a real smile. That weekend was the end of a long and hard trip for him. The two weeks prior he was full of chicken pox in London and then spent his time in Paris with a terrible case of the runs. It was so great to finally have him feeling better and loving life

The other night I asked him if he would ever get his ear pierced (like molly) he looked at me like I just ate an elephant. He is such a conservative boy in that regard. Not tatoos and no piercings, say he now...let's talk again in 10 years and see how it turns out
