I'm jumping on here for my morning coffee break.

BUBBA - your poor Mom. I hope they figure things out soon. That is just awful what she has gone through.

:cheer2: :hippie: :cheer2: :hippie: :cheer2:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
GAYLEAN!

:flower3: princess: princess: :flower3:

:wave2: Gaylean,
Not too long now, and you will :drive:up to Canada and we'll be :hyper: and party: while we camp and do a bit of :drinking1 and the only :laundy: we will do is to hang the wet towels and swim suits.
::yes::

And now I must get back to work :sad2:

Bubba:

That story is beyond traggic :sad2:

I was thinking maybe a sponge was left in, but now after hearing the story it sounds like mama is really sick.

I thought the sponge because I read a story about how it can not be seen in some of the Xrays or MRIs or maybe Cat Scans not sure about the actual details but something like that was a story from a C-section gone bad. Now that I think of it I might have read it on the CB on the DIS, I get all my current events there, sad I know

I hope your mama gets good care and they can find the issue(s) and solve the problem and pain.

I have a terrible fear of being in the hospital myself so I feel bad for her having had all this terrible pain from something that "should" have made her feel better.

I'm so sorry

Still praying

Yesterday I had swap shift and I had the hearing test, of course, I lost some hearing... but will get two new digitial hearing aid within 3 or 4 weeks... Hopeful work for me??

Anyway, when I left my house as it started heavy raining and I carry on drive to hospital...

After I left hospital and it get worst heavy raining which I have not see it for a long time, just like heavy running tap water... I drove past three times in water paddles which I never see like that in UK...

When I went to my work and find out that the shop had been shut by 2.30pm..One of boss was telling me that heavy raining hit the roof and seem like waterfall in clothes department and water running through to foods dept... about 2 inch of water everywhere... Oh it was hard work for us.. for tidy up last night...

Lots of head manager came to see it ...

I think foods dept is opening today but other like clothing dept are shut because need roof repair etc as men came last night to fix it...

I just missed it because swap shift and I told my boss Oh damn I missed out the fun, she was not happy with me... opps... I realised as it was hard work lol... but she told me that she fell and had the slip down when water was everywhere and the staff had soaked feet oh blimey.... She tell me watch your feets as slipping everywhere... I asked her was you embassment? she said yes because staff was laughing at her... I told her you will laugh later on...Oh dear poor her...

Oh my Deborah. There has been such a lot of heavy rain about, but to close M&S!!!!!!!

Who ya trying to fool Gaylean??? You had that many drinks before ya woke up!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

On a more serious note, I need to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, prayers and PIXIE DUST!!! It worked! They sent mom home a couple of hours ago. The Dr.s are absolutely stumped as to what was causing her pain. All tests were negative, and blood work was fine. Nothing more they could do for her so get the h ell outa here before you get sick with something else! She didnt have pain meds all night and is virtually pain free and sitting in the living room at home with visitors as I type this! She says she feels better than she has in months. And to touch on Nans question once again, it would be VERY unlikely that something such as a sponge or whatnot was left inside of her because her procedure was done orthascopically(sp), so she was never "opened" up so to speak. Just three tiny holes where the camera etc are inserted. Soooo, what the heck was wrong we may never know ! But she is home and feeling 1000 times better! Thanks again EVERYONE!!!!

What a huge relief:banana::banana::banana:

I hope this issue, whatever it was, is now passed and your mom is on the road to good health.

and remember, Gaylean like to get up after noon, so by now, 1:15pm she'd have that many :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I don't know, the weather has been weird.

We have had nothing but rain and people are wondering if we are living in Chicago or Seattle.

We have not had so many days of rain since 1929.

& you know what happened THAT fall... :scared:

Bubba,

So sorry that your mom is going through this and it is just so traumatic. The whole thing is beyond traumatic.

I had my gallbladder out back in 2001, having had gallbladder trouble since 1976. I would often be in unbelievable, unendurable pain, so I can understand what she if feeling. Though not the trauma of the surgury.

My case written up in a medical paper, because I had been misdiagnosed for 25 years. They kept looking for stones. I never had gallstones, I had a chronically irritated gallbladder.

Your poor mother, I am sending her all my best.

And all my best for you and your family and loved ones too.

Still thinking about Bubba's Mom...

But at least now I know I'll get the right answer when we play "Which body part is missing" over many drinks... :rotfl:

Ken, this is the cutest picture ever! :goodvibes

Holly, you and Tyler have a safe trip getting back home today. What an awesome vacation you have had.:goodvibes
Thanks, it was really great! We both miss Heather, Tom, Bethany, Hope (Heather's mom) and all the cats already. Tyler did NOT want to come home. He's at his dad's already because I asked his dad if he wanted to pick him up a day early since he missed two Saturdays with him, and he's keeping him until late Sunday because of it being Father's Day, so I get a LONG break! The kid really was driving me crazy, and I was ready for him to go. Not misbehaving, but just doing irritating things, repeating things over and over, strange sounds he'd get stuck on and do over and over. I hate to admit it, but I don't have much patience for annoying things kids do.

So we got into Detroit at about 6:15pm, then by the time we waited for our ride, dropped our driver off at his house, and stopped for takeout to eat for supper on the way home, it was close to 9pm when we got home. Then I had to hurry up and mow (just the front yard) because apparently somebody from the city inspected our neighborhood yesterday and was coming back today to make sure everybody mowed (a neighbor told me). THEN I still had to read Tyler's bedtime book to him to get him off to sleep. It was a late night and I was exhausted all day today at work.

Came back to work to find 1 of the 3 people hired recently to replace the 2 who got fired and 1 who quit, decided it's too stressful for her and quit her first week! So that means lots of piled up stuff since I was off all week too. So I offered to work 7am-7pm Wed, Thurs, and Fri this week to try to help get somewhat caught up, or at least put a dent in the piles of work. Job security! :thumbsup2

I cleaned the guinea pigs' cage a while ago and they're tearing around it like crazy and making all kinds of noise! I sure did miss those cute little critters! :goodvibes

Our 7 year old niece is cruising with us this Oct 2 and think the unlimited bacon is the part she is most excited about. At least that is the part she keeps telling everyone about :cool1:
:rotfl2:Well, a girl's got to have priorities! :rotfl:

You mean like forcepts or something? I think that would have showed up in the mri , no? A little background.... My Mom put off having her gallstones removed for YEARS!!!! The pain was never bad enough or lasted long enough for her to get it taken care of. A few weeks ago she was doubled over in pain and still didnt want to go! So my stepdad made her promise she would go to her Dr. the following monday, this was a Friday. Well sat. it was so bad he took her to the E.R. Yup, need your gallbladder removed they told her! DUH. No biggie, kinda routine these days , right? Well thats what we were all telling her . V had it done , my brother had it done, both were out in a couple of days, no problem! Welllllll....... not mom!! Soon after they started the surgery she stopped breathing! She had some kind of reaction to the anesthesia and her tongue swelled up and blocked her airway! So they had to bring her out of the anesthesia. Buttttttt, they had to continue on with the operation, why I dont know. They tried to give her an epidural but didnt want to give her that much for fear she would stop breathing again! Sooooo ,the bottom line is that my poor mother had an operation with basically NOOOO pain killers or anesthesia!!! You've got to be kidding me is all I could say!!!! She said it was so painfful it was surreal!! I cant even fricking imagine!!! Its not over!!!! The next day they tell her because they were in such a hurry to finish the operation, that they left some stones in the duct that goes from the galldladder to the stomach. They will have to go in orally( down her throat) to remove the stones. So they go in a couple days later and do this second procedure. They stopped counting at 20 something stones that they had to remove from the duct! 4 to 5 or 6 is whats normal in the gallbladder and the duct!!! Holy smokes, no wonder she was in such pain for years!!! Well shes been home for three weeks today and the pain has still been there in varying degrees. So thats how we got to her ambulance ride last night. She said the pain was way worse than it was before the operation! So bad she couldnt move or breathe!. Well as of this evening when we went after work , like Venetia said earlier, the doctors are baffeled, and can only bring the young doctors in and stand around her bed like on the t.v show E.R, and do this...:confused3!!!!!

Oh , I almost forgot. When my mom had eye surgery, they didnt put her under far enough. Just enough that she couldnt move or talk, but she could FEEL THE WHOLE THING!!!! Saw the tiny scalpel coming and then her worst nightmare! She could feel it but couldnt stop them!!! So needless to say, if they have to go in again this time, shes gonna freak, like Gaylean said earlier!!!

Oh my gosh, how awful! Your poor mom. I sure hope they can figure out what's going on without having to do more surgery.
