Thanks for the update Venetia. I'm sorry she is still in pain(though well controlled I presume), and that the Dr's can't work out what is wrong. Let's hope there is better news soon and she is recovering.

I agree - atleast she's being watched & has nurses/drs around if needed.

Thanks you all for your prayers and Pixie Dust. Mom is still in the hospital and the doctors are baffled by her pain. They don't know what is causing it. They have done blood work and an MRI and are kind of doing this.... But she is staying in the hospital as they can manage the pain better the if she were at home.

Thanks for the update V.....let's hope they figure it out sooner rather than later. At least they can keep the pain under control. Prayers, pixie dust and positive thoughts coming your way!

Some positive thoughts please. My mom was just rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Dont know whats up yet but she was in serious pain. She had her gallbladder removed a couple of weeks ago and it didnt go to well. So its something related to that. She just had her follow up with her doc on friday and expressed her concern that she still had bad pain. She was supposed to get her blood work results tomorrow. This is not good!

I had a decent weekend....

Sat - started out scrapbooking, then went to Paradiso 37 with Will (good but expensive) then we went to see the sneak preview of "The Proposal" - the new Sandra Bullock movie....VERY FUNNY!!
Got home about 1030pm and as some of you know struggled to stay up to do Palo/shorex stuff for the Sept cruise (only able to do dinner but will keep trying). Then ended up watching the Food Network Challenge show (Disney Celebration Cakes) until 2am.

Sun - woke up about 11am - did some , played , watched the , read and did nothing else - didn't feel 100% (not sure if it was cuz of the wacky schedule from the night before or the 2 caipirinhas that I had at the restaurant )

Now to get through this short week - I'm only working 4 days as Friday I fly to MD to help celebrate my boy's 13th bday I'll be back on Sunday.

Monica, it does sound like a decent weekend I would like to see "The Proposal" too, so glad to hear your good review. I also struggled to stay awake on Sat night, ended up going to bed and setting my alarm to get back up I need to do the same this weekend! I hope you're feeling better by now

Hi Michelle! Nope, not home yet. Still hanging out under the palm trees!

I left the resort Saturday morning to drive to Tampa, easy as pie, and shortly after I got there, jumped into the pool with Tyler and Bethany. Stayed in the pool most of the day for her party, then hopped out of the pool to head down to the ocean. We learned last time we were here that sand & salt water are not Tyler's friends, but he wanted to try anyway. Not good. It was a brief time in the water for us, but we sat on a bench and watched the sun set until the others were ready to go. Beautiful!

Today we all slept in, had a big breakfast cooked by Heather's mom, were still in our pajamas at 1pm, played a couple games of Disney Scene It, went to dinner at a place called the Green Iguana right on the water, drove around an area called the pass or something like that where some kind of pirate weekend was just ending, went to a theater to see "Night at the Museum 2" (great movie), came home to watch TV and eat leftover birthday cake and look at cruise pictures.

GUESS WHAT?! Heather got Tom to agree.......THEY'RE DOING THE PC REPO TOO!!!!! Heather wants to start chatting here again to stay caught up with everybody and also so she'll know right away when we find out when booking will start.

I have lots more pictures to upload, but I left the camera in Heather's car and don't feel like looking for her keys, so it will wait until we get home tomorrow night or the next day.

Holly, I'm so glad you have had such a wonderful vacation And now you have another to look forward to

Hey I text you and Venetia today and you didn't mention this. What's going on? Should I keep reading? Is the pain bad like before she got it removed? OMG, she's going to freak if she needs another surgery. That poor woman has been through enough. I'm going to call you right now.

Shaelyn walked to school by herself this morning.

Well sort of...

Kaleigh and I walked her to school then just as we did our goodbye hugs, she turns and remembers that she had forgotten her glasses at home. So we turned around and ALL walked home again so she could get her glasses.

Then I asked her if she wanted to try walking to school by herself and she said she did. So Kaleigh and I stood at the end of the driveway and watched her walk by herself.

Yeah she probably could have done it a lot sooner, but it got me off my butt in the mornings.

You can see the school from your house, that's cool! I'm sure she feels so big.

Yes Kathe, thanks for asking. I'm eating again and not feeling sick. I still have cellulitis, but I'm taking antibiotics. I feel so much better now.

Oh me too.....I remember John saying, on the last day of the PC cruise, no more unlimited bacon every morning for breakfast. One thing I'm really looking forward to on the Tortola cruise is that unlimited bacon.

Our 7 year old niece is cruising with us this Oct 2 and think the unlimited bacon is the part she is most excited about. At least that is the part she keeps telling everyone about
