NEVER...I can't imagine never talking to you again. That would make me:sad1:

You can always come celebrate with me. You guys need to come visit us.

I just got back from seeing Up. I really liked it. Bubba is at a guys only bbq, and I'm just waiting for him to call for his pickup.(he took a bottle of Tequila with him):rolleyes1

We were going to invite you guys to the drive-in, to see it when the rain stopped

I called today to tell you that Brooke keeps begging to go to Venetia's house. I told her not right now and she said "How about in August for my family birthday party" :grouphug:

thanks everyone.....I am not doing so hot so I am having a hard time reading, but Michelle told me to pop over here to see my wishes so I did! Hopefully I'll be back to normal in a day or 2, not a fun way to spend a birthday! :(
:hug::hug::hug:

Hey Willie - Good Luck, Good Skills, Good Speed, Good time.

go speed!!

Ditto to all of the above :cheer2::cheer2: :car:

Kathe

Thanks, the day was going well, he was on pole for the heat and ended that in 2nd place, then in lap 11 of 18 when he was in first place with half a track lead, his chain fell off :sad2::sad1: so he finished in 7th out of 7, they still give him some points for that I guess it's better than nothing. Not sure if he will drop down to 2nd over all since the other guy in 2nd place had a crappy finish in the race prior. We'll see next week. Willie's friend from Huntington Beach (Paul encouraged the dad to come up and race in No. Cal and we have raced So Cal in return) took 1st. So that makes us somewhat happy in this sad day. Willie was very upset, but we talked about it all the way home and now he is ok. Although I suspect he will cry himself to sleep when he is alone :guilty: It sucks to have a hard break, but these are the things that will make him a stronger man in life....

he just crawled onto the couch with me and Paul and Molly, so I better go before he reads this all.

Night guys talk to you tomorrow.

Kathe - you benefited from the bug in the DCL booking system too and got the cheap airfare?

I'd like to stay in Barcelona a couple of days, but we have the cheap airfare too and can't make any changes.

I booked that airfare and then added on 2 days in Barcelona, but now I think we can't afford that dang hotel $400 per night, so I'm going to have to try and change it. I hope they will do it or I'll be stuck deciding better good airfare and over priced hotel :confused3

Also, I'm bummed because I'd rather be in WDW the week before with Paul and Molly during her easter break(and of course Wilson too)

Holly, thanks. Have fun tomorrow and next week at WDW :woohoo:

:yay: You guys are going to have fun meeting up, I'm happy for you :thumbsup2 Okay, a little envious too!

Kathe
We had a great time! :goodvibes I twisted Monica's arm to get her to meet us at T-Rex Cafe. ;) That's the coolest place ever!!!! I thought Tyler would freak out and get crabby at how loud it is, but he loved it too! :thumbsup2 We're going there again for dinner on Tuesday. :woohoo:

I can't share pictures because I'm using Tom's computer and don't want to try to figure out how to upload on his computer and mess with all that hassle. I spent TWO HOURS on the phone with tech support tonight trying to get my computer to connect to the wireless here and it just isn't going to happen.

We got in an hour late because our flight was an hour late leaving Detroit. Checked in at our amazing place, dumped off our luggage and groceries, and headed to T-Rex Cafe for dinner. Yummy! Monica had a wonderful gift waiting for me & Tyler----MICKEY EARS! Our first ones! :yay:

After dinner we hit the Lego store, and the Disney store, then headed back to jump in the pool. That's when I realized I'd forgotten my swimsuit! :guilty: But it was OK because while everybody else was in the pool, I was lounging on a chair, staring at beautiful palm trees, watching "The Incredibles" on a big screen by the pool, and feeling more relaxed than I've felt in longer than I can remember! :cloud9: Later we went to a big gift store across the street and I bought a swimsuit.

Off to AK tomorrow! :dance3:

Wow!!! The same page as last night

Thanks for answering my question of the day Holly.

The question of the day today is:

Would you stop talking to your best friend for a million dollars?
Definitely not because without my best friend to share the million with, life just wouldn't be the same. :goodvibes

Where are you getting these questions? Keep them coming!

Aw, poor Wilson....I'm sending him lots of hugs.:hug::hug:

This is actually a hard one for me because I could send my bf half a million. I guess I'd have to ask them first.

The question for Sunday is

If you had to pick one person in your family to die could you do it or would you want someone else to choose for you

I would have to pick Jon because he is older but I couldn't choose between the kids. BUT I can't imagine my life without Jon and I know that I will live someday without the kids really close to me, does that make sense?

Well, the horror of fame has descended on Eastwood Manor once again.

The documentary, "Out and Proud in Chicago," has aired again twice this week.

Sukie went to the dentist today (an extraction) and the dentist, who has a very heavy Eastern European accent looked at him and she said, "Why you not tell me you are famous? I see you on TV last night."

Then today, I've received email from people I used to work with and was at a reunion with a few month back, as to whether or not the Sukie in the documentary was my Sukie. (As if there's room on the planet for more than one of him.)

Also, earlier this week he was on a panel discussion.

I'm bracing myself for grocery shopping tomorrow.

It's not playing here on my PBS station... they have reruns of Lawrence Welk on Saturdays... :headache::headache::headache::headache::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Just rescuing this from page 2!!

How did we get there?

Too late for me :sad2: I was really hoping this would be open when I was there a couple of weeks ago. It already seems like ages since my vacation :confused3 Work weeks go so slow and vacations fly by  It will be a long while, I think, before I get to play at the world again! I'm only arriving the day before our Sept cruise, and will need to fly home the day we get off the ship. No more vacation time left for this year. Next year, I was lucky to get the cheap airfare from DCL for the EBTA, but I can't change anything or I lose this rate, so I won't be able to fly in a day or two ahead of time. That means I won't get to disney until the fall of 2010

Kathe

Ok... Lets ALL feel sorry for Little MIss.... "I'M STAYING ON THE MAGIC WHEN YOU ALL LEAVE" :snooty::snooty::snooty:

Wow!!! The same page as last night

Thanks for answering my question of the day Holly.

I don't know... Nan... what do you think... want to split it??? :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

G...

What book are you reading????

Well....

Mom and I took a trip up to the lake today to look at a house that I had had my eye on for a while... (a dream house you might say...) It was a beautiful house on 7.4 acres of lakefront property... don't even ASK how much it was... although give Nan enough rum and she'll spill...) :rolleyes1

I decided after taking the tour and roaming around the big house and the vast piece of property that that is not who I am and that is not what I want out of my place at the lake.

I stopped to see some of my friends who were up for the weekend, and I was sitting outside of Susan's nice little cabin (which I stayed in last year...) and all I could think of was "Why couldn't I just take Susan's cabin and put it someplace else..." which obviously I can't cause she's quite attached to it and there isn't any place to put it...

What I want is just a little place that's mine. And most of all I want to be close to my friends.

So... the dream of the Taj Mahal has gone to the wayside and I apologize to anyone who I promised summer vacations to unless you think you can come and veg in my loft or on my sofabed... (Monica has called first dibs... or was that Nan???)

Mallows of Marsh will be included by a campfire...

Bubba... the fishing IS good there...

If anyone wants to see it... here's the link...it's the first one and you have to click on the numbers to open the pictures. The mountain across from the lake is Dunham Mountain - my favorite and yes, that tall tree at the top IS mine... (although everyone I know claims it as theirs...)

The cabin WILL be pretty much gutted and it will look like a little rustic oasis by the time I get finished with it... yes, I decorate with sticks... :lmao:

It is under Lake Pleasant Association...

Awww, give Will a hug from me  I'm sure he is very dissappointed, but I do believe as well that the bad times help to build character. Here's hoping his next race he's back to winning :thumbsup2
