Don't get me started on dog sitters.

Our sitter is so selfish that she would rather go to WDW and on a cruise, than come to Chicago and sit the dogs for 2 weeks.

In September I have a friend of mine, whose little dog passed away, come over and sit for the kids. I'm paying him, but it's worth it for them to stay home, and I'm saving a boat load of money. It's also good for him, because he's a social worker and can always use the extra cash. Plus he is good with dogs and very kind-hearted.

I hear ya, we can only impose on the neighbors for day trips, the big travel we have a pet sitter come in. But now it looks like Paul and I will just have to travel apart from each other :rotfl2::rotfl2: ::yes:: I'm cruising and he is staying home

Well, the horror of fame has descended on Eastwood Manor once again.

The documentary, "Out and Proud in Chicago," has aired again twice this week.

Sukie went to the dentist today (an extraction) and the dentist, who has a very heavy Eastern European accent looked at him and she said, "Why you not tell me you are famous? I see you on TV last night."

Then today, I've received email from people I used to work with and was at a reunion with a few month back, as to whether or not the Sukie in the documentary was my Sukie. (As if there's room on the planet for more than one of him.)

Also, earlier this week he was on a panel discussion.

I'm bracing myself for grocery shopping tomorrow.

It's on my calendar for this weekend here on PBS ;)

thanks everyone.....I am not doing so hot so I am having a hard time reading, but Michelle told me to pop over here to see my wishes so I did! Hopefully I'll be back to normal in a day or 2, not a fun way to spend a birthday! :(

fyi, Willie has a race in tomorrow please keep him in your good thoughts :car:

Yuck, I have to work this morning. Two weekends of meetings in a row. But, at least I'm helping someone out.

I also will get some more walking around money, so it looks like I'll be able to spot nan for at least a couple of drinks on our cruise.

I'm also schlepping some product with me. Not a lot, just half a dozen pedometers. They had none at this location and many of the members wanted one, after I talked about how I wear one everyday.

I also have a surprise for them, because I've also got $5 off coupons for them so they can save some bucks.

Thankfully, I am not subbing there again until the 27th.

:grouphug: Sorry you're not feeing well Kaylee. When you're feeling better, I think you should get to celebrate your birthday the rest of the month to make up for it :dance3:

This location does not participate in the Disney Dining Plan.

Too late for me :sad2: I was really hoping this would be open when I was there a couple of weeks ago. It already seems like ages since my vacation :confused3 Work weeks go so slow and vacations fly by  It will be a long while, I think, before I get to play at the world again! I'm only arriving the day before our Sept cruise, and will need to fly home the day we get off the ship. No more vacation time left for this year. Next year, I was lucky to get the cheap airfare from DCL for the EBTA, but I can't change anything or I lose this rate, so I won't be able to fly in a day or two ahead of time. That means I won't get to disney until the fall of 2010

So we have 10.30am on Sunday. How about inside the park? Monica, is Tree of Life a good enough spot, facing down the main entrance, or is that too complicated a place to meet? I can't really remember. Just in case we do get there earlier(doubt it) and can go on a ride beforehand. Any other ideas?

Looking forward to seeing you all.

It's a done deal then! Heather and Tom and Bethany will be with us too. Can't wait! :yay:

:yay: You guys are going to have fun meeting up, I'm happy for you :thumbsup2 Okay, a little envious too!

Kathe - you benefited from the bug in the DCL booking system too and got the cheap airfare?

I'd like to stay in Barcelona a couple of days, but we have the cheap airfare too and can't make any changes.

Wow!!! The same page as last night

Thanks for answering my question of the day Holly.

The question of the day today is:

Would you stop talking to your best friend for a million dollars?

If I would have known you were paying for drinks I may have booked. The bar tab was more than the cruise ;)

Yes :thumbsup2 I'm really glad I got it and not just for the money savings. I have not booked an international flight before and this way it saves me so much time and stress of trying to book it myself, even if it is a little restricting.
