No haven't really looked yet, maybe I'll check borders tomorrow. I do have the first one. But I guess you do to if you have the onion ring recipe.

I think they are sold out in most places. I got the recipe off of the computer when someone brought them to work. Do you recommend anything else?

I'll have to pull it out and refresh my memory. I'll let you know. off to bed for me now.
good night.

Oh, and before the day passes completely:
Happy Victoria Day!

To Our Northern Neighbours!

It was lovely Victoria Day up here! Ken & I got some spring yardwork done today including hauling all the spring raking bags to the dump.

(tried flickr cuz Ken likes it, but I can't figure out how to post the actual pic)

On flickr when you go to the pic on the top left side it says "all sizes" click on that and then you can select the size you want to post and below it should be a link you copy and paste into the forum (might need to add the img tags however).

Great pics Monica!!

Those were fun. Looks like a great time.

Gaylean - welcome back. Shaelyn goes camping with Brownies next weekend. It will be the first time she goes with brownies and the first time she goes without a family member. Could be interesting.

I'm not telling anyone how much I have managed to gain on the dining plan in one week :scared1: Good for you though, Gydell :thumbsup2

I enjoyed seeing everyone too! And thanks, Gydell for letting me tag along with you and your family in the parks, I had a great time

Kathe

Kathe - that was sort of the reason we decided to dine "naked" this past trip and not get the dining plan. In the past we overate because we had "paid for it."

Financially it came out just about the same this time around, and we loved the feeling of flexibility, and being able to change our plans at the last minute.

I have a Facebook dilemma. My WW boss has sent me a friend request. Not sure how to handle it.

A few of you had wanted to know how to find the sandwich builder etc on the WW member site. After not being able to find it myself, I emailed support. Here is their reply:

Here is the link to the Pizza Cheat sheet:
http://www.weightwatchers.com/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=35561&sc=3417

You can find it by searching the entire site for Pizza Cheat sheet. Beer guide also comes up on the list when you search for it as well.

http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/ssp/index.aspx
The sandwich builder is actually the sandwich-stacking strategies. You can find it by clicking on list all from the above link.

Just don't respond..that's what I do. :lmao:You gotta keep in mind that anyone you accept will see all the bizarre things your OTHER friends post on your wall!

A big Congrats to Lisa and Quentin! I'm so glad to hear this news.

We've been unbelievably busy here. We're launching several new divisions of our company and program this summer. One is for homeschoolers that I specifically did because of all of my relationships I've made here on the Dis with my home school families. I've been working hard on our website and webinars that we will begin this summer as well.

Hard to believe it has been a year already. Which day did we go through the canal?
Thank you for the good wishes! We are very excited (and nervous!). It is exciting about your business - let us know if you get an engagement up North here!
Pretty cool trip when a dessert is the lowest point...

I'd have to say Acapulco was the low point for us.
That is funny that the dessert was the low point! We did "ok" for Acapulco as we took a tour to a hotel on the top of the hill that had a beautiful view of the ship! And then we went back on to the ship!

Chloe????

& I like Penny Auctions... it's amazing how excited I get when I win other peoples junk... :lmao:

You want Lisa to call her daughter Penny Auctions?:lmao::lmao:

......hahahahaha......I thought the same thing at first Marilyn.

Michelle, I also thought of Chloe.

not that it matters, but Chloe is Wilson's karting nemisis, so I'm not so sure I like that name ;)

We are home from a nice long afternoon in Half Moon Bay.

last note I have to share with you. there is a pedestrain bridge that is fairly new that was built just a town away from us over the freeway that looks (loosely) like the Bridge of the Americas. Everytime we drive by it we laugh and remember our wonderful day in the Panama Canal. :
Ok, Chole or Penny??? I will keep a list going. Nan, sounds like you had a nice ceremony in Half Moon Bay.

What town has the new walkway? We will be on the look-out for it!
Thanks V....I'm printing it now.
Ditto - thanks for the recipe! It looks great.
Just a quick post... I'm headed to Jersey for some Drs. appts this afternoon... will try and get back on tonight, but if not... I will be back probably tomorrow or Wednesday....

Try to stay out of trouble... ;)
Travel safe! Do you spend the night in Jersey when you go? I have no clue about distance back East!

I have a Facebook dilemma. My WW boss has sent me a friend request. Not sure how to handle it.
My sister had a huge Facebook dilemna...my brother invited our Mom to join and it sent her over the edge! So it got to be a big discussion over the holiday, my Mom did not join, but now all our aunts and cousins are on! Poor sister, can't post about drunken nights anymore!

The kids were SO excited about the Disneyland surprise. They've watched the planning DVD about 5 times since Sunday! I'm excited we splurged on the Disneyhotel - it has been 5 years since we have been there! I saw so many new rides on the DVD. Any tips/must dos? Any one else going to the park this week-end?

Off to work. Before I go stopping by the school - Owen (oldest, 5th grade) has Colonial days today so he is all dressed up as George Washington. It is great to see him still excited about these things...sometimes he seems like he is getting too old too fast...

We all really enjoyed Toy Story Mania!
Did you get pictures of Owen all dressed up?

Ooops did I slip????

I agree ignore. I have a classmate from elementary that is trying to friend me, but we weren't friends then why would we be now :confused3

Pretty cool trip when a dessert is the lowest point...

I'd have to say Acapulco was the low point for us.

Not for us. We had the best day with Kaylee, Lisa and Families and Hector our Protector. We each chipped in I think $60 and had him for the day, tour us around see the spots then take us to the beach, and he brought in lunch for us (that was extra) it was a wonderful day. I think the company made it the best :grouphug:

It's Penny Auction, not Penny

The bridge is in Cupertino, you see if from 280, check it out it's totally funny.

Pictures of George please :flower3:

We are thinking of driving south for the weekend. Paul has been talking to the race organizers of Gators (no V not those gators) it's a series in So. Cal. We didn't consider it before because it was so costly. Paul called yesterday and learned that they droppped the fees for the little guys. So now it's on;y $75 to race...tempting, but we still have to pay gas and one night hotel. We're trying to decide. It was interesting that Paul didn't have to say his last name, seems that some little boy (Wilson) is getting known by his driving....the race director knew who Wilson was and really wanted him to come south to up the compeition. I hope we can figure it out. It would be really cool if Willie could make his name for the whole state, actually Gators would mean western states :woohoo:

IAN......
I have my new home page!!!!!!!

I can't wait to get home and check it out more throughly. Looks like it will be very cool.

Wow, you must rate. I still have the old look. So, it looks like they selected you for the beta test.

I have not seen the new look, I've only heard about it. I heard that it's cool. I also think we will have the ability to become "friends" on WW.

Totally nice suprise for us tonight...

I was reading the CB and came accross someone that was giving away their tickets tonight for Jimmy Buffett, playing in Concord (about an hour away) :yay:

I sent her a pm and now I have the tickets :woohoo:

We're going to MargaritaVille tonight. (I figure it's in honor of V cruising without us

Such a cool thing. I've always wanted to see him, but no way could afford tickets right now, so I'm just jazzed this fell into our laps :dance3:

Gonna get some sandwiches together for a picnic lunch and pick out some concert garb and be on our way....next time you'll see us we'll be in Paradise....Cheeseburger Paradise.....later....:upsidedow
