Proud mama here again. Paul just found the lap times for this weekends race and Willie was the fastest Micro-Max Kart in every session, practice, qualify, heat and main. That means not only did he win but he kicked some booty this weekend

He is now #1 in the points for his class

Only 8 more races to WIN!!!!

It's a great and somewhat surreal feeling having him win like this. I know he is a good driver but he has spent so many years getting to the place where he can show it that I'm still kinda pinching myself.

Also I have a confession (I'm making it here not on Tortola so maybe Monica won't see, just kidding) The Grand Nationals in his series is the same week as our Tortola cruise Paul and I have talked about it and if he stays at the top of his class we'll somehow find the money for him to race in the Nationals, in Norman OK. (Ironically that is the town in which my mother was born and lived until she was 6 years old) I would still take the cruise, but I'd be sadly missing my boys race as a National Champion Oh well, no reason to be upset so soon, it's a long time until then and he has 8 more races to win to make it happen.

that would be great, but you have to realize for that to happen I'd need to hire a professional to tape him...I'm so freaked out watching the whole thing that I can't hold the camera on him to tape it. And Paul's out, they have hand signals to do back and forth during the race.

I cannot believe that Freedom of the Seas is filling up already for my dates...

I couldn't get nice cabin but got one beside the hump... we had second thought about it as we don't spoilt view from the balcony.... I am going to contact TA again to see if anything but I wait until near times...

Unbelieveable 1 years 11 months as we thought too early to booking it but it was not grrrrrrr....

The girls and I might go up to Prince George to see Ken, but it all depends on how much stuff I have to do and whether I want to drive 1.5 hours each way to see him for a couple hours. I'll be happy when this election is over and life gets back to normal. I sleep better when he is home.

So far I have had points left over every day. I have no need to even touch my weekly points. I hope that means I'll have a good weigh in on Friday.

Sunday is Mother's Day and I'll be thinking of Venetia, Bubba and Jackie....I'll remember our gathering before CC last year....paying tribute to our mom's. It will always be special to me because it was the first mom's day for me and V without our moms.

This year I have ordered some flowers and I'll be going with Ray and the kid to see mom at the mausoleum. I would rather be on the Magic at CC with my friends. At least I have the memories.

I'm so excited....my WDW tickets came in the mail. One is a picture of Minnie with a DIS green background and the other is MICKEY with a pretty blue background. I WANT MICKEY! But I can't give John Minnie. Guess I'll show him both tonight and let him pick first.

We'll be at WDW for 5 days after our Sept cruise. I want to do EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Downtown, Typhoon Lagoon and Sea World. We're going to be busy.

BTW, for those of you in the Orlando area right now.....I HIGHLY recommend that you try Emeril's restaurant at Universal.....Tchoup Chop....pronounced chop-chop. John and I love it there. http://www.emerils.com

Well, our Energizer Bunny lawyer is actually on vacation all week! But him being on vacation isn't much of a break for us because he still works quite a bit by phone and email. But we do have a chance to get caught up on things we've been saving for a somewhat down-time. Like today....doing a subpoena for tax records in every single file. It's boring doing the same thing over and over and over all day, so I'm taking a little break to play.

It seems that the old Bethlehem Steel Plant has converted into a hotel/casino. Emeril will have a new steak house restaurant there. Lots of shows and shopping too. It sounds like a great place in the neighborhood to hang out. Bethlehem is where we lived before moving up to the Poconos. Mom's final resting place is also in Bethlehem. It's about 30 minutes from our house. Me likey!
