Never made it to April 1st! Never got to say......." Ha Ha April Fools"! I guess I cast the bait out a little too soon! Gaylean didnt think it was too funny either cuz she was the bait, until she found out my mom said she was gorgeous!

Oh, NO! Moldy? Yikes! I guess I'll be spending a lot of time on deck. I drive David crazy because I can't stand a lot of restaurants (especially the "less expensive" ones because as soon as I walk in I can tell they wiped the tables and/or mopped the floor with a mildewed rag/mop. It just about makes me want to vomit!

But it will be fine. I'll just have to bribe myself with the knowledge that we will be on another Disney cruise SOMEDAY (but I sure wish I had one booked NOW!)

I know that gag barf feeling. And just stay way far away from the drink machines, that was the worst. Maybe bring a can of airfresher and use it when you smell the yuck only a diser would think of such things When is your trip?

And just to clarify the mom story, I was setting up an April Fools joke. But my usually easy going and able to joke with mom swallowed the hole dang hook line and sinker way too soon and got all serious, and cried at night , and got her fellings hurt, and I had to call it off, and she got even madder that it was a joke, and didnt want to talk to me for a long time, and thought Venetia and I and my brother were horrible people, and I was just being mean and spiteful to her, and Venetia and I werent the solid rocks in the family anymore, and today will be the first time I've seen her since and it should be FACINATING!!!

Happy Easter everybody! I see Ken already shared pics from our morning. Today was the first day trying out the Mickey pancake shapers. They worked great. The first couple weren't too good because I put too much batter in, but by the end I was getting them all good.

I had originally planned to get lots done this weeked, but I'm not. I spent 2 evenings helping a friend make a cake, and then Sat afternoon at the party. Now, I've revised my weekend goals to getting enough done so that whatever is left will at least fit in the laundry hampers.

Shannon/Ken, loved the girls and those easter dresses reminded me of easter when I was little, my sister and I always had matching dresses. I'll have to find the photo to scan. Of course when Molly and Willie were really little I did the sister/brother outfits on them too

I'll keep that in mind! Our trip is April 23-26. I was under the impression they don't have drink machines on Carnival. You have to buy sodas. I'm bringing my own anyway.

Good morning all!

I had a bit of a lie in and did not get out of bed until 7:00 AM, although I really had woken up at 5:00 AM.

Busy day here at Eastwood Manor. Sukie is going to attack the garden. The competition with the next door neighbor has already started.

I have to redo the electrical plugs in both my and Sukie's office.

I think I am also going to go on a 5 mile walk today, or at least that is my hope.

Did you trip over any easter eggs??? Those squishy marshmallow ones can really stick to your shoes...

& please tell Sukie that my chives are up - SPRING IS HERE!!!

Beautiful sunny day here. I'm hoping to go for a walk and then visit Serenity this afternoon. I had Sara and Trevor over for a big turkey dinner on Friday, so I get to play today!

One office with the cords reorganized and one to go. It really is amazing, cords and cables that went to devices long since gone. It was like an archeological expedition.

Now on to my office.

It is so strange to have a Sunday morning to myself.


I also have to sort out all of our tickets and vouchers. Everything seems to be emailed and print-it-yourself.

I have to print off our voucher for our AP at WDW and our park hoppers for Universal.

Ever notice that it seems like it takes forever for a vacation to come and then in the couple of weeks before, everything seems to suddenly accelerate?

Yeah... especially if you don't know if you can go yet...
