Ian didn't check in - he always does.

I woke up and and was really tired.

Our bedroom is in the front part of the basement. The back part is where the boilers for the two units are and the washing & dryer and storage lockers.

There is a problem with our boiler. The electronic starter has started buzzing loudly like an old fashioned electric alarm clock. It is so loud that you can hear it on the first floor (main floor for Marilyn) even with the TV on. As a matter of fact it sort of drowns out the TV.

We had the part replaced in the fall, but the new part was faulty and started acting up. I did so with a vengeance this past weekend. It was woke me up 2 to 3 times on Saturday and again last night.

I was so tired this morning that I'm surprised I caught my normal bus.

Oh my gosh, how irritating and frustrating! Can you call and have somebody replace it again for a new one that hopefully works this time? You can't continue trying to sleep like that.

Welcome back Marilyn! Too bad you got laryngitis.

Nan - congrats to Wilson! That's an excellent finish!

John - the kimono exhibit sounds interesting. Glad you got some fun stuff in.

Bubba/Venetia/Gaylean - glad you had a good time, I'm looking forward to seeing pictures.

This afternoon we tried out the Disney Dance Revolution game. Ken, Shaelyn and I enjoyed it. Kaleigh wasn't impressed. The team option works really well with Shaelyn. Its less frustrating for her to work as a team, instead of constantly losing.

Well, I'm off to go pay bills :sad2:

We bought rock band and the kids are driving me crazy. You can only listen to hungry like a wolf so many times :sad2:

:rotfl2:Tyler has acquired my frustration for electrical gadgets. We were playing on www.enterhorrorland.com (from Goosebumps books) and one particular game kept freezing up my computer. Finally, after the 3rd time of starting again, he said, "I hate technology". I had to laugh at him.....I often say that at work! :lmao:

Thank goodness it's almost time to leave for karate class. We're both getting bored. Snow is 1/2 melted, and it's too slushy to do anything with anyway. We ended up with 8 inches, so it sure was pretty this morning, but melted very fast.

Wish me luck tonight that I don't throw up or pass out! :rotfl2:

"Look I got an Easter basket" "Look, I got an Easter basket" "Look, I got an Easter basket".......................................................................

Sorry V, I couldn't help myself :lmao:

I had my heating guy in today, and the part was replaced. I'm looking forward to an in interrupted night's sleep!

I love it!!! Canadian footballs as eggs! You are just surrounded by Canadiana and you don't even realize it!!

Looks like a great time! Great pics Bubba!

Our footballs don't look like that? They look the same to me.

The racing stripes!

The circles on the nose. NFL balls have no stripes. NCAA balls have 1/2 - 3/4 stripes. Canadian footballs have full circles.

Well we may not play with those kind but if we were to draw a football it would look like that egg. I bet there are a lot of things here, that are shaped like footballs, that look like that.

I know....a stranger posting here....and I am sure this is old news for everyone, but I just read and had to pop over here.....
DID YOU ALL HEAR THIS????

DISNEY CRUISE LINE

The Disney Wonder Heads West!
Disney Cruise Line announced the Disney Wonder's repositioning from its Florida base in Port Canaveral to the West Coast in 2011. The company worked with the Port of Los Angeles to finalize an agreement with an extension option. The new Disney Wonder sailings could generate more than 250,000 guests passing through the Port of Los Angeles over a five-year period.

I figured I was the last to hear....I'm always out of touch! LOL

I am good. no complaints....just hanging in living day by day! no changes in either direction so that is good.

how about you?

Thought I would drop in and say hi to everyone. Doug has been lurking and has been keeping me up on anything important that has been going on. :) I had a really bad relapse of my depression but we think we have made a major break through and I am now very much on the mend. So much so that I am interested in getting on the boards again. For awhile I didn't even want to get on the computer. :confused3

I was glad to see so many familiar names when I went on the new thread for the 2011 PC Cruise. And then the wonderful PM from Bubba inviting me to stop back in here made me feel really good.

About the most exciting news from here is that Mickey is getting a little sister in a week or two. We are naming her Tinker Bell and calling her either Tink or Belle (not sure yet). Here is a picture of her and one of Mickey now:

Hi all,

Absolutely beautiful day here. Almost 20C.

I had to go downtown so I chose to walk and then met Shannon at Subway for lunch.

Shaelyn has decided she wants to learn to play the piano so we stopped at the music store and picked up a beginning book for her to try out. We'll see how far it goes.

I tried to take the winter tires off my Tucson today but they are stuck on good. So I will take it in to the dealer and let them deal with it. But it will be nice to get the studs off and just go with my regular tires.

Have some steaks to cook for supper, so I think I will break open the BBQ for the first time this year.

As I said it truly is a beautiful day today and has me in good spirits.:cool1:

Nice to see some strangers popping in (Hi Carol, Hi Kaylee, Hi Gaylean)

Going to be a short work week for Shannon this week, but unfortunately she only gets a 3 day weekend compared to my 4 day. But it's better than nothing!

We know about it and there is a lot of us that are thinking about going depending the time of the year :thumbsup2

How are you doing?

Some of us don't need to think about it. Some of us have already started our trip fund for it!
