Hmmmm very interesting...

We can fly to Cabo San Lucas, Lake Tahoe or Chicago from Prince George for the same points for a 4 day weekend (Thurs - Tues).

Hey Shannon, which do you want to choose?

That's not a tough one.

Never mind about the food porn. I tried to quote the picture but I put the menu on accident.

Bubba, Shannon, Nan, thank you! :goodvibes I tend to sort of take for granted the stuff going on with him at school since it's just a regular occurrence for us. I guess it sort of becomes normal in my mind, but in reality, it isn't normal (I know that, but forget since we deal with it regularly). Thanks for reminding me of the important points I felt in the beginning about this. You all are correct, I just need reminding. It's difficult when you soooo badly want your kid to do normal things with normal kids. :guilty:

Thank you all. :grouphug:

Normal six year olds don't go to camp. And, when you do decide to let him go and you are unsure if it is the right thing to do, let the counselors know about the issues and let them read his current reports. They'll tell you if it is the right place for him to be. His father can't push it if they say it isn't the right place for him.

Okay, now I really have a dilemma! We have always said how much we'd love to do another Repo cruise and now we'll have the chance! But we also really would love to do one of the inaugural cruises....What to do???? But if a bunch of y'all are going to be on either one, that will make the decision easier.

Of course, 2011 is when Alison graduates from High School, so there's that to figure in. Sigh...Why couldn't we have done all this when they were in elementary??

In a way it'll be easier when both kids are just up and gone. We won't have to try to work around school schedules anymore. We just go when we go, and if they can join us, great!

Oh, BTW, Thanks to all for the warm welcomes back! I see you really haven't slowed down that much after all. I'm afraid I'll never be able to keep up with you all, but I'll try to stop in more often. Truthfully, I spend most of my online time these days on Facebook unless I'm planning a trip. (But maybe that will be sooner rather than later!!)

I hadn't that about the inaugural cruises  Oh they're probably too much anyway. I would worry about the cost of the PC cruise too because it has been all over the news around here and people are buzzing about it. We'll see.

This one is blurry because it was on video but you get the point.

Sorry to hear about the pebble. I hope it has passed!!!

About the second part of your post - :lmao::eek::lmao:

I'm working on both...

... Parking Lot???????:confused3

(pssst ... we call transportation, the "L" here)

(psst... I live in cow country...)

I must be crazy! I signed up at ATA, Tyler's karate school! I've actually been considering it for a while because it does look fun! After his class on Monday, we watched a bit of the adult class, and it was like a boot camp! I talked to the owner and he says all his adult classes are run like boot camp, unless you're specifically training for tournaments. Cool! That's just what I need! I just can't seem to stay motivated to work out on my own, and since Tyler's already a member, I'll get a discount. And Tyler will get a patch for referring a member, and he'll get a $50 gift certificate for equipment, and he'll get 10 entries into the drawing for a Wii! :goodvibes And he'll probably get a kick out of me doing classes too! He and I will be able to do the family class together on Tuesday nights, so that will be fun! :thumbsup2

Tonight will be a one-on-one session for me during Tyler's class because I told the owner I'm a bit nervous about how uncoordinated I am, so he's going to show me the basics so I'll know what to expect. Can't wait!

Good luck!!!

Why am I reminded of that old commercial where the lady is outside the department saying "open, open, open, open".....

Dole whips will do that to you...

I hope it goes away soon Michelle.

Thanks Holly... drinking my lime juice... :headache:

Men - grrrrrr

My husband told me that he dont want to go to Australia on 2011..

He want us to go to Canada to see his brother and see sighting...

trouble that I want go back to Australia....

I love Australia... look like drop it now...

mmm maybe I drop hint about new ship mmm

Scottishwee35

Men :confused3 Who would rather go to Canada than Australia? OK, I've never been to either one but I know Australia is better :lmao:

Yeah, I keep thinking I'll go on more often, but life just gets in the way. Facebook is the best way to get hold of me if you ever want to make sure I see something. Although if you PM me, I'd get that, too!

Do let me know if you plan another local meet, though!

Will do. I'm on facebook but forget to check it. I will be better about it.

It really depends on which portion of Canada you are going to. Canada is REALLY big.

Just as an example, we here in BC just gave special designation to some park land that is approximately DOUBLE the size of the country of Belgium.

As another example the ENTIRE UK is 244,820 square kilometres in size.

My PROVINCE of British Columbia is 944,735 square kilometres in size. Or roughly 4 times the size of the entire UK. (another example is that Texas is only 2/3 the size of British Columbia at 696,241 square kilometres and California is even smaller at roughly half the size of my Province).

Canada as a country is 9,984670 square kilometres in size. Or roughly the 41 times the size of the entire UK.

So when talking about Canada the big question is WHERE do you want to go as there is no way you can see the whole country, you have to pretty much break it down into regions and go and visit that region.

You have a lot of useless knowledge.
