Both are great... but it's the chime that got me.... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Good night all... Nyquil is finally kicking in....:thumbsup2

The chime? :confused3

Edited to say that I had to go back and listen again since I had the volume too low at the beginning of the clip to catch the chime. Thanks for pointing it out. Your clip trumps mine!

Take care Connie and get better.

Good Morning All.

I heard on the radio that we may reach a record today here in Chicago. It's supposed to be 64F and sunny!

We all still know that this is just freak weather. It will plummet again.

I was amazed on my mile walk home from the commuter rail yesterday evening, just how much snow is still around. You would think that after 3 days of above freezing weather it would be gone. It just goes to show how big some of the plowed piles were.

It was so nice on the walk home. No sweater under my coat. No scarf. No hat. No gloves and there was still light in the sky! It's the little things you know.

Lisa... did Maryann have the baby or is that tomorrow? :confused3

I spent most of yesterday (Monday) at the hospital with her. They put her on a beta blocker and were ablr to get her blood pressure to 130/90...which is much better than the 200/105.

The protien test came back good ehough that decided they wanted her to go home and try and wait a few more days for the baby. She goe back tomorrow night again for more tests.

So I guess this is a long answer to a short question, The situation is day to day and wait and see. Right now she is 36 weeks.....so everyday counts that they can not deliver the baby.

Well, I just saw on the Phoenix news that Prescott had 10" of snow today! I hadn't looked outside since it got dark so I had to get up and see what it looked like outside. The last time I checked there was about an inch, maybe a little more. Here's how it looks now:

Guess I'll be shoveling tomorrow!

No smart remarks from you Ken, Michelle or Ian! :rotfl:

Oh my gosh!! When was the last time it snowed there??:confused3

It's easy.... just follow the colors on the plugs...
Yeah, I know, but there are multiple yellow, white, and red spots to plug in on the TV and they all say something different, so I have to read the section in the book on hooking up a DVD player. My cord coming from the DVD player is black, so the colors don't help me. I should have time to do that tonight.

Gotta race to the shower....but wanted to post:

HOLLY, staying at Ft Wilderness will put you right by the best kept Disney dining secret.....Trails End! Great fried chicken!! And probably the least expensive meal in the "World". :thumbsup2

Mom is responsible for the haircut and NO I don't have a black eye... (it's an old picture...) I went up to mom and said I couldn't find the picture... she turned around and grabbed it off the frame on her dresser and said "this one..." :headache:

How is your hair so straight?

I just found this on the EBTA thread... separated at birth... I SWEAR for the first couple of days I thought you two were the same person... :rotfl2:

2548738954_3c7c4a4980_m.jpg

I never noticed. I guess they look a little a like.

So this means I can be 600lbs?:rotfl:  :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No unfortunately it stops at a certain age. I would think 10. I can't imagine a 12 year old weighing 120 :scared1: . But Ethan probably will. He weighs a lot I think. He always has but they always tell me he is under weight. I guess because of his height. He has always worn way bigger sizes. He is in a 12 right now. Brooke always wears smaller clothes. She is in a 6. She is one of the tallest in her class. He is "under weight" and everything is too tight according to her. Plus he gets all of his exercise using his thumbs on the DS :lmao: and she is really active. He eats more than Jon or I easily and it's hard to get her to eat. Like I said, everyone is different.

So cool....but I am very nervous!!

Don't be nervous. If you are queasy just keep your head up by her head. My mom stayed up by me until she was born and then she went and looked at her instead of watching them sew me up :scared1: I didn't even notice she was there. It just hurt too much to think about it. I was glad someone was there to hold Brooke. I don't like holding my babies when they are messing around "down there" Hopefully she has an epidural. If not she may say mean things to everyone ;)

Update on Dad - he's all marked up now so that the beams go where they're supposed to go. He hopes to start the actual radiation on the 11th.

He has decided to go w/ me on the Baltic cruise (he didn't want me to go solo -- not cuz he's worried about me, but more for the experience)....he's an adult so I can't make that decision for me. He & I will meet up at Dulles then fly to London on the same flight. He will stay in London 4 more days after I leave.

Everything is coming into place for you. I hope everything goes alright with the radiation.

I am formally out of my old role and have started my new job today.

Today is the first time in nearly 4 years that I have been at work and have not been all stressed out to the breaking point.

On a much sadder note, I'm actually having difficulty functioning without the stress. Almost like I'm going through withdrawal from a drug.

Endorphins are thought to be similar to morphine and are usually released by the brain during times of extreme body stress. I got this from dictionary.com. I guess you need to find a better way to release those endorphins ;)
