Ok my turn now.
8 months.
Went to a British school in Brazil - he came to visit. Entire school lined up on the football (soccer) field either in class groups or extra curricular groups.
I was in the Brownies (Gnome pack) so that's why I'm in my uniform. I got to be 1st in line as they lined us up shortest to tallest, and since I was (am) so short I got to be 1st in line.
He stopped by randomly & spoke to people. I honestly don't remember what we talked about. I do remember his ears though

He told me all the kids hate Mickey, so he picked superheroes. I can't imagine any 6 year old who doesn't like Mickey!

Even though Tyler is still having these episodes I still think he's doing wonderfully in the new school...small steps is what he needs to start with, and you've told us many stories that prove that he's trying to get control & act/react the way he should.
His dad was cleaning around the nose pad thingies and one broke right off and the glasses store couldn't fix it. So he picked out new glasses yesterday and he told me he wants to try something totally different. All his pairs of glasses have been blue or bluish-gray so far, and sort of rectangle shaped lenses. He told me he picked those because blue is his favorite color and he thought the glasses matched his eyes. Well, this time he chose sort of a gold/light brown color frames, and the lenses are more round. I wasn't sure about it until he tried them on and I actually think they look OK. They make him look a lot different, so I'll post a picture when he gets them. It will take about 2 weeks for them to come in. 
Tyler picked out a box of Valentines today for school next week and it was very sad because he loved a box of Mickey & Friends ones, but told me he can't get those because all the kids would laugh at him.
Hey .... this is the first year in 15 years I have not had to buy those boxed valentines!! What a Big Bonus!!
I'm just happy they finally come in larger packages. They used to only come in boxes of 12 or 15 or some ridiculously small number. I saw lots of boxes of 30 and 25 this year. Tyler's has 26. He only has 19 kids in his regular 1st grade class and 7 in the special ed class, so he has enough to give to both classes, plus the box came with 2 teacher cards.
