We got a card from some chick named Cheri.

It was pretty cool.

Though we thought it was odd to be getting a 2010 Christmas card so early.

Jill, if you're referring to the Wii, it is the "address" for your Wii (Matt will understand).

To find your address:

1. On the main screen, click on the button on the screen in the lower right-hand corner, the one with an envelope on it.

2. On the next screen there will be 3 icons at the bottom. Two on the left-hand side, click the one that looks like a notepad

3. You'll be taken to your address book, it should start out with a screen that says, This Wii is ...

I'm doing all this from memory, but that is roughly the way you find your number.

this is only for people who have their Wii connected to the internet, right? I don't plan to connect to the internet on the Wii. It's not really necessary, is it? :confused3

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. We are back from DL. It was a great day.
And now it it time for bed, back to work tomorrow.
Glad you had a good time! What a great birthday! :goodvibes

Yes, it applies only if you have connected it to the internet, or if you want to pretend you are connected to the internet.

Techonolgy Alert

I last reported on the new line of Sony (Webbie HD) low cost hi-def video cameras that are being introduced in the spring. A very nice price and 5X optical zoom.

Sanyo, has announced an update to their Xacti line of video cameras. It seems like the theme that is emerging is high-definition and a MUCH lower price point. The Sanyo models have a much larger spread in price, from $399 to $600.

The Sony cameras provide higher definition at the lower price point, 1080i vs the Sanyo's 720p (at the lower end of prices)

Here is a link to an article about Sanyo:

Cool! I'll stick with the Webbie HD though. Seems much more simple for my NON-TECHNO mind. :lmao:

AND the Webbie HD comes in purple!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: Very important selling point. :lmao:

Ian, I have no idea why your post came out so huge when I quoted you. :rotfl2:

ughhhh, I woke up to a completely stuffed up nose and 38 degrees outside! The dogs did not want to go out, not that I did either. I think the air is on at work, it's cold!!

Sorry you're sick. But I'd gladly trade you our below zero temps from last week and about 18 inches of snow for your 38 degrees! Oh, that would be so nice to have 38, I could have a break from wearing my winter coat.

Hey Ian, aren't you supposed to be working? ;)

Yes, though I got to work at 7AM and so had some time.

Depending on my day I do check into the thread. Though usually I am way too busy and stressed. I typically do it while eating my lunch.

I have 15 minutes right now. My calendar doesn't open up until 4:30 PM.

I'm leaning towards the Webbie HD, if I do anything at all. For me, the 1080i Hi-Def is very important, plus, it is geared towards web publishing. It also has a 5X optical zoom which is fine for what I want.

Well, I managed to ignore the donuts that showed up in the kitchen at work yesterday! Today is harder, because the ones that are there today are HUGE! 2 of them are like 8 inches long! :scared:

Daniel and I have been chatting on AIM. VA Tech is on lockdown right now. Another murder on campus.....1 person is comfirmed dead. Daniel is off campus now and I am glad.

OH my goodness I didn't see anything about this on the news. What happened?

:cool1: We got our card from Cherie! :cool1: And Ken's not home until Friday, so I got to see it first!:cool1:

:cool1: And Ken booked the extra night in the hotel, so we are all booked :cool1:

:cool1: and I'm watching Lost! :cool1:

And I have do :laundy: which is NOT :cool1:

I can't wait to see you guys :goodvibes
