Well, I also play with the Wii. The pity is that the Wii does not have cooperative gaming.

(I wasn't aware of any problems with the PS2. We never had any issues.)

Yes, some PS2's had disc read errors where the machine would quit reading the blue discs after a time. Read that some in the US were able to get the error fixed for free from Sony, however, when I contacted Sony it wasn't the same up here. Plus I would have to ship it at my expense, which was almost the same price as getting new unit. It was actually such a big deal that stores up here wouldn't even offer protection plans on the PS2's.

Apparently, it was an "optics" issue on the disc reader that would get misaligned afterawhile.

Sony's customer service turned me off of them because of that.

On the flip side, my sister-in-law had a problem with her Nintendo DS and it was fixed (out of warranty) for free and she had it back in her hands in a couple of days.

The difference was day and night.

And who said Canadians never held a grudge?

You are right about the rating. I wonder how many people didn't see it because it was wrong. There are very few that Ethan has seen and Brooke hasn't seen any. He only saw Star Wars III and Indiana Jones. That's horrible about the kids being at that horror movie. Oh and Ethan has seen Jurassic Park too. I figured it was alright since there is no chance of Dinosaurs being on Earth and he doesn't scare or get nightmares easily.

What wonderful sensitivity to your kids! :thumbsup2

We never took our kids to scary movies since they do not like them (neither do we so no big sacrifice there. There is too much sadness and pain in real life to last me). We also never took them on a ride they had tried once and did not like or rides similar to rides they did not like. :scared: The older one started roller coasters when he was 15 and the younger one when he was 25. We had several trips where we did not go on Haunted Mansion as that scared them.
.

Maybe she was on her way back from Champagne girls :lmao: She looks happy.

Yes that is right....

Gaylean

I think they mean the PS3, the PS2 didn't play Blu-ray movies.

Nope I mean the PS2. Not talking about Blu-ray. I'm talking about BLUE discs. If you look at PS2 games you will get some that are black and some that are BLUE. Many of the better games are Blue. Those are the ones that were having problems with the optics.

It was actually quite a common error and there are numerous "fixes" for it online - almost all of which require you to open up the inside of the machine.

It just doesn't seem like a fair match. Eagles are birds of prey, and what are Cardinals, they're not song birds are they.

Unless of course, I've misunderstood, there is a match between eagles and the cardinals are priests.

All I know is that the cardinals take longer to eat the seed in my feeder and an eagle could swoop down and take the thing whole...

Ok Deborah... was that a "taste" of Guinness????;)

Well, we are back from Costco.

Our intention was to buy toilet paper and razor blades. We walked out $108 later, apparently not satisfied with just toilet paper and blades.

It was a zoo. I think because of the storms last weekend and the arctic conditions until today.

The one thing that really annoys me are the aisle being blocked by people wanting food samples. I just personally find food samples gross, even before WW.

I am too proud to gnaw on chicken legs that have been heated up in public in an unfamiliar toaster oven.

I'm telling you, public toaster ovens are going to be the downfall of civilization as we know it.

Mark my words. It is a well known fact that Rome fell because of toaster ovens and willy-nilly food samples.

& speaking of Debs...

Anyone hear from Deb & John today???

Oh wait... there's football on...

Absolutely... haven't you smelled that toaster oven in the Rome scene of SSE????

Just how much toilet paper did you need? LOL:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Costco was a saviour during my university days. We used to go there for lunch. Just aimlessly wander around the food aisles taking food samples until we were full then leave.

Yes, Cardinals are song birds. They actually have more songs than many birds.

AND

they are creaming the Eagles right now 24 to 6.

.

Don't get me started on Epson (I never met an Epson printer that didn't spontaneously combust).

Uh oh. Don't tell me that. We have an Epson ...

So if Epson is no good and HP are useless, what do we use?

creaming is an understatement. We'll see what 2nd half adjustments the Eagles make. Cards are playing with divine intervention right now. Warner was actually at a QB rating of 158.3 in the 2nd Q.

Well I may be mean then. Ethan has ridden every ride at DL and CA :lmao: He hates Indiana Jones (a year ago) and Tower of Terror. Brooke has been on them all besides those two because Ethan has her scared. She loves them all too!

All I can say is that I had problems with every single Epson I've owned, for no reason at all.

I did eventually receive a mailing for a class action suit against Epson due to quality issues. Though I do think Epson has good inks, and was the first company to consider the need for archival quality inks for photo generation. Normal inks fade quickly,

I finally gave up and went to Canon. My experience with them was much better.

By the second half, the team bus may actually make it to the stadium... (with the team...:rotfl2: )
