Hi guys, I have such a full day at work and will for the next couple of weeks. My assistant is out having surgery on her neck today. So everything she does, I now have to do plus my own work load. My receptionist is really good so I can hand off somethings to her.

This is a big change for the whole family. It will take time to adjust, and to figure out what works for your family. Did Jon realize he'd have to do more at home if you were working? He's used to you not getting upset if he didn't do what you asked him to, so he probably didn't realize you really needed him to do it. You are a very busy person!

I know it is a big change and that's why I feel bad for being resentful. He knew I had a bad day so I would think he would have been nice to me. I just think a dad should want to read with his kids. It makes me sad to wonder what would happened if I died.

Good Morning

I am not happy this morning...

Olivia lost her own teeth... she went to Church club and girl punch her face...
and broke her teeth...for no reason..

grrrrrrr I don't know if it is baby teeth or own teeth...

I asked her if she hit back she said no...

I took her school and she showed me big girl... I told her off and she said sorry... I told her about her teeth... she burst crying...

I am sitting down and feel upset and confused...

I have to go to church to find out why...

I have to make an appointment densist (I am praying baby teeth)...

feel that I have a pressure now....

that's great! Especially for a stressful week! We'll be smaller when we see each other in March. In 3 weeks, I've lost 6lbs, which is exactly on plan for me. If I can lose 2lbs a week, and keep it up, I'm happy.

Tonight I've got to get out of work early, and get the girls and drive up to PG (120km/73miles) so we can go with Ken to Robby Burns Night family dinner and dance. My sister & family are going, Ken's dad and stepmom, Ken's nephew, and I think Ken' sister and family are all going too, so it should be a fun evening of eating and dancing.

2 pounds a week is great. I'm hoping for that. I would be smaller in March. You just gave me something to shoot for. I've been looking for something closer than summer. I need smaller goals. It works out better for me. So that should be around 14 pounds more by the time you get here and 26 all together.

Oh Deborah, this is horrible. But don't worry because the dentist can fix it. Olivia will have a beautiful smile again soon. Kids are kids and things happen right or wrong. I'm sending you lots of hugs. It will get better.

Hello

The girl's mother bang my door and shouted at me... She look really hard woman oh god....

I had to explained that her daughter punched my daughter and broke her teeth...

She stop and looked at me.. then she was shouting at me...

I calm and patience (of course I feel sick).... I thought she was going punch at me too...

After that I went to church as lady was not there and somebody explained that Olivia and girl had been fighting inside and outside punch and kicking...

I was shocking to hear that and I am going back to church at lunch time to meet lady who witness last night..

I feel sick and upset... |I texted Ian and he cannot believe that..

Church told me that both of them ban for a week... I said well I don't think Olivia will be back after I heard what happened last night...

I was working last night... feel guilty...

I am sitting here and feel numb wonder why they fighted ... not like my daughter...

I am going back at lunch time to talk with church.. I have to face it

very sad, I remember Olivia oftn telling me that girl had been bully her..

Ian texted back he is angry with Olivia and want to know why fighting?

I don't know if Olivia is frustrated or what...

Oh well she is ground for a week now... I have to sit down and explain about it, sound not very good...

I know Olivia stick up for herself...but I don't like what happened last night...

Very sad today....

It sounds like the other girl is a bully because she takes after her mother. It sounds like it runs in the family. I hope you get it all sorted out. Don't be mad at Olivia if she was just sticking up for herself when the bully girl was taunting her. You can't change other people, but you can go out of your way to avoid being in their presence. Make sure that Olivia is not near that other girl unless you or Ian are present. It's really a shame because you would think that your kids would be safe at church at least. Apparently not. It is very sad. More hugs for you.

Probably and that's why I don't want to work that much. I really don't know how people do it without getting divorced. All I asked Jon to do while I was at Boy Scouts was read to Brooke for 20 minutes. He didn't and so I was mad and I had an attitude all day. When I didn't work or volunteer outside the home it didn't bother me if he didn't do what I asked him because it was mostly my job. Of course I wanted him to want to do it but I never complained about it or felt resentful. Now I do. I always thought that life would get easier as the kids got older but it is just as hard and time consuming but in a different way. Plus my house is dirtier

So sorry Gay, it is very hard to find a balance. Especially as the kids get older and their schedules are more demanding too. Jon is just spoiled by you always being there to handle everything with the kids. He is not used to your needing his help. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just do your best and that's all you can do. Many hugs to you.

That's awesome Gaylean. You are really doing so well. It's very hard to adjust to a change of lifestyle with you working outside of the house and volunteering while also dieting to lose weight. All of that in addition to managing the house and the kids lives. Cheers to you for trying to do it all! Give yourself a little break and try to understand how much you are actually accomplishing. Pat yourself on the back and find some time to pamper yourself. Maybe a bubble bath with some bubbly.
