Ok so I just heard back from my friend from the lake... she rented at our OLD place - which I won't really go back to because the owners are total $^!# heads... and they rented it AFTER they talked to the other people... and since I'm going to be borrowing my girlfriend SUSAN'S cabin (I just LOVE Susan...we're the same age and we are great friends...) I guess I can be ok with everyone at the lake and I will have to retire my friends lake voo doo doll...

and by the way...

Under the right circumstances and the correctly prescribed reasons... Vicodin makes you feel much better... or was it the chocolate???

One never knows... so far I have an ADR for dinner with Planky's humans on the 15th... no resort plans... but you never know... I may be in for a girls weekend away...

I will definately call ahead... Do you have a couch? Nan will want me to look for a couch to stay on for a night...

I have bad news and good news. Bad news is when when DH comes home he might have to take me to the ER. Last night I got a pain in my side/back and it has gotten worse. I can't sit, sleep, or walk. Also I am dizzy and can't walk down the stairs. My mom and step-dad can't figure out what is wrong with me.

He is 9 weeks old. I haven't named him yet. Our cats hiss at him but they are getting used to him. Also he is super cuddly.

Jill I hope you feel better.....I hate it when i don't feel well and I have no idea what is wrong. I start making up all kinds of crazy illnesses!!

I only copy half of it on my pc.

Lucky my friend told me about cardrecovery and I got it back but have to pay for it.

After I pay it and I dont know where is it now?

I had to used it again and try to catch it where is it?

Why me, work, pc down, memory card wiped out WHAT IS NEXT??

Sukie and I went to a garden party at the house of friends today (yes, contrary to popular belief, there are people who like us).

The Smart Car was the talk of the party. Well it emptied the party as everyone poured out on the street to gape at it.

One of my friends, who is also my lawyer, commented on the upcoming marriage (he and his partner have been together for 30 years).

"Are you absolutely certain you want to marry him?" He asked, referring to Sukie.

Oh, he's just jealous because he didn't nab you or Sukie first.

Here we are out on 4th of July

My racing guy today

It was a long hot day. We went to a club cross over race at Davis (yes at would be near UC Davis)

Wilson had engine problems during the heat race, he stalled in the first lap, so he qualified 10th (just one spot above last place, which was owned by his friend Sarah, who couldn't even get off the line in the heat)

Both Wilson and Sarah raced their tails off and finished 5th and 6th. (Wilson at 5th)

He was okay with that since it was great progress to make up 5 spots in just 8 laps.

Hopefully one of these days it will be his turn at first place...until then that's why they call it racing

We had SUCH a busy, but fun day! We ended up skipping church because we both kept forgetting things and came home 3 times to get stuff for our adventure after church. By that 3rd trip back home to get stuff, I realized I'd need to get gas on the way to church too, which would put us 15 minutes late. Tyler gets embarrassed to walk in late, so we decided to just hit the highway to head out of town. On the way to Kalamazoo, we stopped at this place called Turkeyville. It's actually a dinner theater, but they also have a diner/cafe/take-out and an old fashioned ice cream shop, and a cute gift shop with crafty things in it, and a small playground for kids. Almost everything on their menu is turkey something or other, and you can walk behind the place and see the turkeys in the barn and pens. http://www.turkeyville.com/index.taf It's a really cute place and we try to stop there whenever we head to Kalamazoo because it's about 1/2 way.

They have different events going on all the time, and today was a craft fair. So we browsed all the tents looking for cute stuff to buy, then kept hearing a train whistle. Turns out they have a miniature steam train track, with about 5 trains to ride! The ride was at least 15 minutes, and was free! From Turkeyville's website: "Mid Michigan Railroad Club runs the Turkeyville Express on scheduled weekends. This eighth scale train allows the whole family to enjoy the nature of the turkeyville while riding it's mile track. Train conductors will take you on two half mile loops through a tunnel and over a bridge."

So then we got back on the highway and headed to my dad's, we gave him his birthday card and gift, then hopped into his truck to head to Red Robin for burgers for lunch. After that, my dad asked if we could take Tyler to Chuck E. Cheese to play, so they bought TONS of tokens for him and I kept stealing them to put in my purse because otherwise, we'd be there all day! On our way out, my stepmom stopped and bought him a little metal Chuck E. Cheese miniature lunchbox and a little zippered pouch thingy for tokens. Once safely back in the truck, I gave him the rest of the tokens to hold onto for another day. Majorly happy kid!

Once back at my dad's, They gave Tyler a cupcake and ice cream, and the rest of us had pineapple upside down cake. We left after about an hour and then stopped at my mom's for a short visit on our way back out of town.

Tyler fell asleep around 7pm on the way home, barely managed to wake up enough to stumble into the house and crashed on the couch, where he's still sleeping, holding his CEC lunchbox.

Here's something wonderful: 2 full days, migraine free! I had one Friday during the day, but it ended towards bedtime. Today, it was very strange though....it's almost like a migraine was trying to start. About every 1/2 hour to an hour, I'd feel about 10 very sharp throbs, then it would just go away! So, I'm assuming that's the preventative stuff doing it's job. WAY COOL!!!

Well, I'm off to bed. Long day and my eyes are burning. Barely managing to stay awake. I just hope Tyler doesn't fall off the couch! Well, I know he will, then he'll find his way to his bed.

USS Hornet ... http://www.uss-hornet.org/ it's now a floating museum based in Alameda.

We did an over night on her last fall with the boy scouts and while there we bought a membership which offered us a visit to their 4th of July party. It was fun, but WINDY
