CarolAnnC, being from Boston, was always all about DD. however, when she moved to Chicago, she finally realized Chicagoans don't like DD because the Chicago locations are nothing like Boston. The coffee is watered down, the donuts are smaller, and they don't carry many of the items you can get elsewhere. So, she still hits DD on occasion, but now she's just as likely to hit a Starbucks instead.

But take her home to Boston for a visit and she's Mrs. DD all over again.

Sorry. It just really bugs me when people add letters to things. It bugs me to no end. Like its Bay Lake Tower. It's called Palo not Palos. I just don't understand. I try to keep it under wraps but sometimes it comes out. I mean nothing by it. Like I said its just a pet peeve.

We will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn near the FLL airport.

Well, we are halfway there. Layover at DFW and letting the kids exhaust themselves in the terminal playground before grabbing dinner and boarding our second and last flight.

Watched a Carnival ship leave Miami a few hours ago. Boy was it noisy onboard. A few years ago we had a few days here and we went to watch the cruise ships leave a couple of times then too. I hope we leave early enough on Monday for us to be on deck and enjoy it from the other side. Being early dinner I don't want to miss it. We missed leaving Southampton last week as we left late due to tides, and last year we missed leaving New York as we were late leaving and were in dinner.

Yay! Last show done till the cruise! Now to finish up the packing tomorrow while honey has his last day of work. Then off to the airport for an overnight flight to Miami! See everyone there!
