I used to be a huge Trekkie once too ... But that was mostly in the day of Picard![]()
. I am still going to watch the new movie, but I won't mind if it is a bit later. Maybe they will even show it on the ship - or do you reckon there's no chance of that?
Granted, this is my first Disney Cruise, but I've gathered that, as far as first-run releases, they only show Disney/Touchstone releases, whereas Star Trek is Paramount....
.....plus an evil competitor to Disney's newly acquired Star Wars.
Of any new releases on the ship, I'm imagining probably Oz: The Great and Powerful and possibly Iron Man 3 (since it opens a couple days before the cruise).

). I am totally hoping to be better on this cruise and go see at least a couple of movies!
right now. My best friend is a Trekkie I didn't realize we were missing the release date... now I'm a little bummed I wont see it with her... the first time around... I think she saw it ten or more times in theaters for the last one
We're leaving tomorrow for our 7 day Eastern on the Fantasy. This will be our Grand Slam--four cruises on the Magic, one on the Wonder, one on the Dream and now, the Fantasy (also did the Big Red Boat way back in 1992). Then four relaxing days at WDW, AK Kidani, after the cruise; may or may not get to any of the parks.

it works out well anyways we both love star wars (may the fourth be with you
