Hi Everyone! We are the Schneider Family, Glenn, Sharon (me) and Nathan. We are sooo looking forward to a relaxing two week cruise! We always say "We just didn't have enough time on board!". I guess we are about to check that theory out.

You'll recognize us when you see us, two Pooh shaped adults and a little boy in a blue wheelchair. We are really looking forward to the cruise and to meeting everyone.

It still won't be long enough. When we first looked at the inaugural Hawaii cruise, DW (CarolAnnC) pointed out that it would be the longest cruise we'd taken yet, and 10 sea days. She was worried we would get bored on board (no pun intended). I pointed out that we always complain we never have enough time onboard to fully enjoy the ship and this would ensure we could fully enjoy the ship! Well, we discovered that 10 sea days was still not enough.

That said, we did cruise differently than usual. Instead of feeling we needed to run around and do all the shows, etc, we instead spent most of the cruise kicked back relaxing (under the belief we'd get around to doing it all later). So, I would say it was the most relaxing cruise we've ever taken, but still not enough time onboard.

I have to agree with never having enough time on board. Maybe Disney should try a cruise of totally sea days. Just follow the sun.

Unfortunately, that's not legal. Hence why the Cruises to Nowhere are only two nights. On the first one they did out of LA, we were actually docked back in port well before the sun was up in order not to violate maritime law based on when we had sailed out of the harbour.

The cruise can be 12 nights at sea long as it does not stop anywhere and returns back to its departure port. Assuming it started in the U.S.

Huh. That's the opposite of what multiple CMs and other seafaring people have told me over the years. I would LOVE a long Cruise to Nowhere.

Yup. As long as it stays at sea and does not port. They could longer than a 2 night if they wanted to.

Yup. As long as it stays at sea and does not port. They could longer than a 2 night if they wanted to.

I'm not up on the finer details, but I know that ordinarily they need to stop at a foreign port because it's not a US registered ship.

Welcome. 14 nights won't be long enough I am sure. Though I know of people who don't enjoy that long. Strange folk!!

We are very blessed as we will be cruising for 28 nights(21 sea days). Not all at once I must add. I imagine I will have to pack a size larger bag of clothes!!!

EARLY DINING! If you have early dining and would like to sit with other Disers, when you can send a pm - send one to ME. I am linking early diners. We have enough adults for at least one table, and enough families for at least two tables.

Small bag packed with books and toiletries, and carried down to the trip "staging area". Today - realtor appointment and library room closet.

I'm convinced DCL is just playing with us on this cruise.

Two weeks ago it looked like there was barely a cabin to be had. Only concierge showed up (at $14,600) as available and on some days only one cabin. It even came up as sold out once when I looked. On some days a few other Inside would show, usually only one category, and sometimes an OV. Today? I think there are 6 Inside categories available, all the 9's for OV, two different types of 4's for verandahs, and 6 concierge (still $14 grand).

What's going on?

As the cruise is getting closer travel agents might be returning inventory to Disney. That might explain the appearance of different cabins now showing up.

Also, they may be upgrading some existing reservations, so the inventory never appears to be set in stone at this point in time.

My husband and I have talked about this quite a bit. With a cruise of this length, we might (gasp) actually sleep in a bit or take an afternoon nap. I am sure we will still be on the go, but we might have some relaxation in there too.

We are definitely in the very relaxed cruising group. Sleep in have breakfast on the veranda, go to the pool or maybe one of the activities, have lunch then a nap. Strolling around the ship before dinner, Jackson likes to dance in the Promenade Lounge before dinner. Late dinner - After Jackson finishes his dinner he goes to the club we then have a relaxing dinner. Maybe a stroll around or a drink in the lounge then pick him up. We are definitely into total relaxation. Heather has tickets for 3 rainforest days.

So just wondering if anyone booked anything today. We are keeping our streak up with DCL WBPC cruises and booked and paid the deposit for 5/2/14. I would have liked the southern rout but I don't like the idea of trying to fly SB San Juan and it has way to many port days for me to enjoy a cruise. I like sea days and port days too, but that only had one sea day. If it were like the 11 night a few years ago out if PC I would have booked in a heartbeat.
