Made it on board! :charac2:

I know a few of us are on this cruise, so here is a common thread to post updates/information (in addition to or lieu of doing your own trip report). And for everyone else to ask questions. Whoever happens to be online please drop in and post any pictures or interesting bits.

To start off, here is Wonder parked at the port as you walk to the terminal along the river banks.

Whoever decided not to print meal rotations on key should be fired. App doesnt work, couldn't do safety checkin (crew tried to help), supposed to eat in an hour or and have no idea where. Been in loooong guest services line ....others with same issues.

That's cuckoo! Was it intentional? And if so, what is the point of that?? I hope your line went quick and you made your dinner on time.

A bit of breaking news (or so I have been told)...

Masks no longer needed for photos with characters! Just keep the social distance.

We took a couple of character shots and were asked 'would you like one without your masks'. For 5 seconds, yup.

Sounds like a change from this cruise on.

Cool! - neat idea. - thanks for doing this.

We've made it to the ship as well!- we're so happy and feel so blessed.
Will post as long as my mobile wifi allows - and whenever I buy the connect@sea
The process was waaayyyy easier than I anticipated. Went thru the whole thing in a breeze. 90 minutes from bag drop off at port to the ship - considering all the horror stories I've read, that was fast.

Feels like the ship is around 60-70% capacity - definitely doesn't feel empty at all.
Adult area was almost full with very few lounge chairs left right before leaving port.
Also, overwhelmingly older crowd - A good 60-75% seem to be in the 60+ range. Lots of 70+ and even 80+ . very few young couples. Have seen no more than a dozen younger kids/toddlers.
Don't know why this sailing attracts this age group considering that 1 week of it is during spring break in the US/Canada.

Will ask around as well about passenger numbers and will update.

The app sucks! it's so spotty. The chat is always silent, with no sound, and no vibration, you need to stare at it all the time if you need to communicate with your family... the menus don't load properly, the chat with CM's is a joke, you need to wait forever...it's so bad... needs a major revamp imo.

As a teacher in my 40s with school-aged kids, neither of our spring breaks fall this month. They're all around Easter and in our state the break is minimal. We normally lose half of them for snow days. My school has a more liberal attendance policy, but my kids are only allowed 5 days for an educational trip. This, I would imagine, impacts the number of younger people on the cruise.

Does anyone onboard know how iMessage is working?

In our waiting batch for which they released the test results on screen - about 120 reservations - we saw not even a single 'Consult'.

It looked like mostly everyone made it on board.
Oh this is so good to hear!

Seems to be working! So far no issues.

Maybe partially has something to do with the vaccination policy.
