Ways to sneak veggies in?

Kids have a way of being able to spot microscopic bits of veggies in their food. "What's that GREEN thing?!?!?"

So I just believe hiding it isn't the answer. Somehow they have to learn to like them. I think dips, cheese, etc. are a good way to do that. Or, there's nothing wrong with laying down the law. Ea tyour vegetables or there wil be no dessert...snacks...TV...whatever it is that will get their attention.

I completely agree that kids can pick out the tiniest piece of vegetable (or whatever it is that they don't like) out of food if they want to. We used to try to hide things in my daughters food and she'd pick them all out. If she didn't get them all before it went into her mouth then she'd stick her tongue out and scrape off the pieces she didn't like. And the kid isn't even 2 yet so they learn fast.

Unfortunately though, we're not at an age yet where we can say 'no dessert, tv, etc.' if she doesn't eat what we want her to, so we just use the jarred baby food cause it's like a liquid so it mixes right in with whatever we are giving her.

Thanks for all the great replies! I will definitely try some of them and report back! Thanks!
