My parents and I are taking a short-notice trip to WDW (just a day and a half, but at least it's a trip
) in just under 2 weeks. None of us, especially my mom, can take the heat well, so I'd appreciate any tips.
None of us will/can wear shorts (the will or can varies by person.
) but cool clothes otherwise will be done.
I'm going to get a mister fan to keep full with water -- should I get one at the parks, or better to find one at Walmart or something before we go? If they're not *too* expensive in-park, I think it'd be neat to have a WDW one. But if it's something insane like $20, I'd rather spend $5 or something at Walmart or Academy or wherever.
Poweraid, water, and more poweraid. Those will be done. Ice-cream's a no-can-do or that'd be on the list.
Jumping from A/C to A/C.
Touring early mornings and late afternoon, spending the heat of the afternoon either back at the room or in the A/C portions of the parks.
Anything else?
We're planning to hit Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot.
Thanks!!
