Noo!!!!! Well...okay, that is a bit dramatic. But sad. I know it is for the best and am happy to be able to see them one last time! Also excited to see a new show in june!

Man that sucks, the Haunted Mansion and Thunder Mountain RR scenes were the best. I fear the new show will comprise of Mickey shooting off some black cat bottle rockets and possibly some M80's.

The news is what is not there - "Remember...Dreams Come True" Fireworks.

The last scheduled performance will be on Friday, May 8 at 9:25 PM.

This is a total bummer for me personal I had the best magical moment during this fireworks on year and seeing them even in video form brings tears to my eyes just remembering the event. Still I hope the new show is equally as good.

Just to defend perlster a bit: I know when the DL on-line schedule initially updates, not everything shows up on my side at first. My guess is, when perlster looked, the FW show might not have been showing yet. Just a guess. I don't think perlster was trying to mislead anyone on purpose.

Disneyland.com is your best bet for official information.

Right now there is no Fantasmic! The question on that one really is, "When will it return?" The same is true for Disney's Electrical Parade (as it is now called since it's over at DCA).

I have heard that RDCT will be replaced by a new show, but no one seems to know an exact date yet.

I agree. Perlster has been great about giving us some early info on DL happenings so we have a heads up on what is going to happen. I usually expect some tweaking as the DLR heads make their final decisions & let their people "leak the data" to the rest of us.

In the meantime, I just called DLR info and asked about the fireworks, and they told me that the fireworks will be showing through May 31st, and that they do not have the data for June as of yet (they get it six weeks in advance.

I asked her if she was the same Liz who gives Segway tours & she happily said yes, and I told her that I was on the tour where someone who didn't listen to the "wait until we help you" tip fell. She remembered us right away. I also ran into Jessica at City Hall when I got my Disney birthday funcard. They were great.

I think the first post was changed as a commentary on DLR not giving the correct updates. That's why Rule #1 exists (Grumpy Pirate can explain)

I wasn't only speaking of him. I just mean people who post things like this without double checking first

I would freak out upon not seeing it but would check back to make sure it was a for sure thing before breaking the news. Although I do tend to worry until I know for sure
